I typically avoid going to the dealership as I had always heard that they are really expensive and try to charge you for a whole lot of things that you don't need. Needless to say I was more than pleasantly heard that they are really expensive and try to charge you for a whole lot of things that you don't need. Needless to say I was more than pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Honda regarding a recall to change out the defective part and that they were willing to pay me back had the part gone out on me and caused additional damage to my Honda Accord. When I went in for that is when I first met Erica Harper she was so friendly, outgoing and understanding that she just drew me in. I have never been much of a mechanic myself and was amazed at how knowledgeable she is. I wouldn't be surprised if she could tell me what every nut and bolt on my car was for. I love the fact that when she is explaining something to me that I don't understand about the car she breaks it down into terms I can understand which also helps me understand a little more about how my car works. Another thing I like is that I can call to get quotes for different things that need to be done that are no nonsense-actual no hidden fee services provided in a timely manner. It feels good to know that when I come to Honda that I don't have to bring my entire savings along just in case the expenses go over and above what was quoted. For me that is reliability that I can trust. I have going to Hendrick Honda of Pompano for almost two years now and I can tell you honestly that it is only because of the service that I receive from Ms. Harper. I think I will wrap up this review by telling you about the time my transmission went out on the road. I called my roadside assistance company to call for a tow. The second call I made was to Erica Harper at Hendrick Honda. I remember it like it was yesterday all of the frustration fighting with the panic of how I will be able to get back and forth to work... She answered the phone and the first thing I said was, "Erica I need help." I didn't know if it was my transmission or the battery or something making it seem like it was one or the other. All I knew was that I needed my car fixed that day and hopefully without leaving my savings depleted. She asked if I had a needed a tow or if I had one on the way, asked me a few quick questions was able to determine a best and worst case scenario for problem and let me know what I was looking to have to spend to make it happen. All of this was after she let me know that she would fit my repair in. Not possibly, not you may have to come pick up your car tomorrow- it was "I will get you out of here today." After dropping the car off, I was provided with a ride back to my job and one back to the dealership when the car was done. Honest, dependable, there when you need them and your service person always remembers your name. Thanks Erica and Hendrick Honda. Keep up the good work. More
I want to leave this review not for the Dealership itself but more for our Salesman, Preston Williams and Finance Director, Arshad Haq. These two individuals made financing my first vehicle a pleasure. Me and my wife walked into Hendricks Honda on a late Monday night after a weekend of trying to find a car with no luck. We were exhausted, tired and not really in pleasant mood. At that point didn't even know what kind of car we wanted to purchase. Mr Williams was extremely friendly and patient with us and went through several different cars with us before finding one we liked. He was never pushy and very knowledgeable of all the cars he had available for us. We initially god a bad deal on the financing and were upset. Mr Williams called me the next day and we started dealing with Mr Haq. He promised us he would get us the best deal he could. We were skeptical after our first experience but decided to give him a chance. He came through for us though and got us a great deal on our financing. I cannot recommend these two gentlemen enough. The next car I purchase will be with Hendricks Honda as long as these two individuals are there. More
After buying a 09 Certified Honda Civic for my granddaughter last December 2011, she went back to them for service 3 times on a malfunctioning AC under the warranty, and each time it was claimed t granddaughter last December 2011, she went back to them for service 3 times on a malfunctioning AC under the warranty, and each time it was claimed to be fixed, and still malfunctioned. After a miserable Florida summer with intermittent AC, she went in again, and found out the warranty was no longer valid. They charged her $60 dollars to diagnose the AC system, and told her she needed a new compressor, and other parts, and labor that totaled well over a $1000. This is something that should have still been covered under the warranty, since they never fixed it right in 3 different visits. She finally brought it to a local mechanic, and he found a loose wire connection, fixed it, and charged her $200. She asked Hendricks for her $60.00 wrong diagnosis fee back, and they never answered. I called Honda,s corporate office, and told them what happened. After months of waiting Honda reimbursed her $150, but Hendricks gave her anything. All the integrity, and earning the buyers trust that the General manager talks about in his letter on this Website, is just is a bunch of meaningless words. I would never buy a car, or have a car serviced at Hendricks ever again, and would strongly recommend that anybody else looking for a reliable Honda dealer, please, look somewhere else. More

I have phoned Hendrick Honda Pompano 954-427-4744, left a message on the finance manager's phone. Also, talked with the sales person who sold me the car, who said he would take care of it. Not a call back re resolving this issue Have filed complaint with AH. More
We purchased a hendrick auto guard maintenance program for the first 25,000 miles maintenance. Everything was to be included with no other costs. At 10,000 miles service advisor states we need to change for the first 25,000 miles maintenance. Everything was to be included with no other costs. At 10,000 miles service advisor states we need to change the cabin filter and air filter for an additional $109. Cabin element by manufacturer says 30,000 miles. Our pre-purchase maintenance plan includes filter change at 15,000 miles. We had the work done and realized the error after researching. Following this posting general service manager, John P, offered a since apology which we accept. It is not about the money but doing the right thing and an error was made. I believe John is sincere in developing a long term customer so we are willing to give them a second chance. I hope this is a one-off event service team puts customers first. We plan to go back at 15,000 miles and let the team make it right. More

Great people all around. I live less then 5 minutes from Coral Springs Honda, terrible place, and I continue to make the 30 minute trip to Hendrick Honda. When I walk it, Reid is always so helpful, remembers me and makes me feel at ease that my car, which I work hard to pay for and maintain, will be treated as if it never left my sight. Sure the prices are a little on the high side, but you don't mind with the level of service that you are getting. I would recommend Hendrick Honda to anyone, regardless of what make and model car you have. They will still service it for you, and you will be happy with the service. I have not had one complaint about them, as I could write a ten-page essay with the complaints and issues I have had with other Honda dealers. It's sad that a few bad Honda dealers/service, can really give a bad impression of the overall company and how the main Honda office handles things. But Hendrick Honda, really brings back that feeling of the security and reliability you get with buying a Honda. More

Very professional, friendly and always taking our needs into consideration before advising on any car. Our salesan Mansur Khawaja is always a big help to us and a pleasure to deal with. The follow up service after the sale is top notch and we have always felt very comfortable with everyone there....and that's why we keep coming back.
