Salesman presented total cost for purchase of a 2013 Honda LX, 4 door. I proceeded to tell the salesman that the car would not be financed but paid in full. I also explain to the salesman that the pric Honda LX, 4 door. I proceeded to tell the salesman that the car would not be financed but paid in full. I also explain to the salesman that the price was $2000 over budget and asked if the dealership would accept my offer. At this point the salesman stated that he would ask his manager. On returning the salesman said that his manager wanted me to write on the quote document , " I agree to purchase this car for $19,000". I asked why was it necessary for me to do this and the salesmen said, " to make sure your committed to buying the car". I then told the salesman this was silly and if they agreed to my offer I would write a personal check for the car today. I refused to write the statement. The salesman return to his sales manager who would not agree to the sale unless I wrote the requested statement on the quote document. I have purchased 4 automobiles from this dealership previously and never any problems. I must say that I felt insulted and likely to not return. More
After a frustrating few weeks visiting numerous dealerships throughout Miami Dade/Broward, my frustration level was at an all time high. I paid Pompano Honda a visit hoping for the best and receive dealerships throughout Miami Dade/Broward, my frustration level was at an all time high. I paid Pompano Honda a visit hoping for the best and received far more support than expected. My salesperson Anthony Beckner did an outstanding job. I called the dealership ahead of time to acknowledge what type of car I was looking to purchase; i.e. make, model & accessories included. Anthony went the extra mile and checked the lot to ensure said car/s was available. Not to waste my time by driving to the dealership and coming up empty-handed. Total time at dealership was just under 4 hours. This is my fifth car purchase and I have to say the fastest/easiest one to date. Good people at this dealership! Even the finance guy advised options that made sense vs. the normal you need this, this, this, and this... accumulating to another $3000 on top of my car payment. Out the door cost was definitely lower (with warranty) than other competitors that I will NOT name! Many thank to Anthony and the Pompano Honda Team!! Regards, Sil More

Said that I'm uncomfortable spending that much money without actually evaluating if the timing belt needed replacement? Service representative said they would have to tear the engine apart, but according to the manual it should be replaced...said read your manual!!! Certainly, the manual is written for Hondas world wide...different climates...different diving styles etc. So how can you justify a $700 plus expenditure without determining its actually required? After declining...received a call my radiator needed replacement plus other up-selling... Could this be a up-sell fraud...get the customer in the door and pick their pocket???? More

I typically avoid going to the dealership as I had always heard that they are really expensive and try to charge you for a whole lot of things that you don't need. Needless to say I was more than pleasantly heard that they are really expensive and try to charge you for a whole lot of things that you don't need. Needless to say I was more than pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Honda regarding a recall to change out the defective part and that they were willing to pay me back had the part gone out on me and caused additional damage to my Honda Accord. When I went in for that is when I first met Erica Harper she was so friendly, outgoing and understanding that she just drew me in. I have never been much of a mechanic myself and was amazed at how knowledgeable she is. I wouldn't be surprised if she could tell me what every nut and bolt on my car was for. I love the fact that when she is explaining something to me that I don't understand about the car she breaks it down into terms I can understand which also helps me understand a little more about how my car works. Another thing I like is that I can call to get quotes for different things that need to be done that are no nonsense-actual no hidden fee services provided in a timely manner. It feels good to know that when I come to Honda that I don't have to bring my entire savings along just in case the expenses go over and above what was quoted. For me that is reliability that I can trust. I have going to Hendrick Honda of Pompano for almost two years now and I can tell you honestly that it is only because of the service that I receive from Ms. Harper. I think I will wrap up this review by telling you about the time my transmission went out on the road. I called my roadside assistance company to call for a tow. The second call I made was to Erica Harper at Hendrick Honda. I remember it like it was yesterday all of the frustration fighting with the panic of how I will be able to get back and forth to work... She answered the phone and the first thing I said was, "Erica I need help." I didn't know if it was my transmission or the battery or something making it seem like it was one or the other. All I knew was that I needed my car fixed that day and hopefully without leaving my savings depleted. She asked if I had a needed a tow or if I had one on the way, asked me a few quick questions was able to determine a best and worst case scenario for problem and let me know what I was looking to have to spend to make it happen. All of this was after she let me know that she would fit my repair in. Not possibly, not you may have to come pick up your car tomorrow- it was "I will get you out of here today." After dropping the car off, I was provided with a ride back to my job and one back to the dealership when the car was done. Honest, dependable, there when you need them and your service person always remembers your name. Thanks Erica and Hendrick Honda. Keep up the good work. More

These two individuals made financing my first vehicle a pleasure. Me and my wife walked into Hendricks Honda on a late Monday night after a weekend of trying to find a car with no luck. We were exhausted, tired and not really in pleasant mood. At that point didn't even know what kind of car we wanted to purchase. Mr Williams was extremely friendly and patient with us and went through several different cars with us before finding one we liked. He was never pushy and very knowledgeable of all the cars he had available for us. We initially god a bad deal on the financing and were upset. Mr Williams called me the next day and we started dealing with Mr Haq. He promised us he would get us the best deal he could. We were skeptical after our first experience but decided to give him a chance. He came through for us though and got us a great deal on our financing. I cannot recommend these two gentlemen enough. The next car I purchase will be with Hendricks Honda as long as these two individuals are there. More
