I went to Hanania Subaru of Orange Park yesterday (Sunday, 3/5/2023) to test drive a new 2023 black on java brown Ascent Touring that recently arrived to the dealership. I was also looking to trade (Sunday, 3/5/2023) to test drive a new 2023 black on java brown Ascent Touring that recently arrived to the dealership. I was also looking to trade a five month old 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy AWD and the process was quite nice and not confrontational at all. I have never owned a Subaru but really liked the look of the new Ascent and the large infotainment screen as well so I was willing to give it a try and test drive the vehicle. I loved the vehicle and the color combination and was ready to purchase it. I own my trade outright and do not typically take a loan to buy a new car and the dealership knew all this up front. After a long 20 mile test drive and a great learning experience from my salesperson, Ian Rossby, I just could not come to terms on the pricing of their vehicle or my trade allowance. We came up a few thousand dollars short of my OTD number to do a deal. That said, I really like the Ascent Touring and think anyone shopping a Telluride or Palisade should give this vehicle strong consideration (I have each of these other vehicles as well). The dealership experience was great, totally opposite of the Kia dealership experience across the street from them. That said, while Ian was a great salesperson and did a great job showing me all the features, Jason Proietto and I just could not come to terms as he was the sales manager on staff yesterday. I was also dealing with the General Sales Manager, Sean Kelley, via phone and Sean was great to deal with as well. I wish Sean was there yesterday as we may have been able to come to terms. I realize I was asking for a deal that would have been common prior to the COVID pandemic so my offer probably took the dealership personnel by a little surprise, but I was not just pulling their leg and tire kicking as I abhor wasting time. It would be a sin for me to go and make a deal with another local Subaru dealer after Ian and Jason spent so much time showing me the vehicle and letting me take a 20-mile test drive to really get to know the Ascent as I really don't need to take another long test drive at this point; I just need to get to my bottom line OTD number if that is possible. No matter what happens in my car hunt later this week, I would recommend anyone looking for a Subaru to give the folks at Subaru of Orange Park a fair opportunity to earn your business and trust. Again, thank you very much to Ian K. Rossby for really taking the time yesterday to show me the Ascent. More
This is the best experience that I have had with a car dealership and sales person. My salesman was Chris Thompson. He was exceptional! I'm 74 and tech challenged. He was very patient with me. Hanania Subaru of Orange Park listened to our wants and needs, they were patient, kind, and friendly. They were great over the phone as well as in person. The whole purchasing process was faster than other dealership experiences. We left Hanania Subaru OP with the car we wanted, feeling respected by their team, and with great respect and admiration for the dealership and their staff and the overall experience. Looking forward to visiting them again in the future! More
My 2015 Subaru Outback was close to being a lemon, but this dealer was clearly in that category. After the initial new car routine service period, I never had a positive experience with their service. They never returned calls and have a perfect record of not following through with promised calls. I gave them an opportunity to hear my complaints informally and was contacted by a manager who set up a time to talk. They never called, which is consistent with my years of experience with them. I enjoyed my car in many ways, except for never fixed repetitive failures. If you buy a Subaru, I wouldn't buy it here. I had not intended to write a formal review, but when they failed to follow up on an offer for an informal review, after initially requesting one, I changed my mind. More

We LOVE our 23 Outback Onyx we just bought, and I took delivery of yesterday afternoon. We researched/discussed options for several weeks until we decided on the 23 Outback. We shopped several dealers and gave Hanania Subaru of Orange Park the opportunity to beat our best deal and for the second time since the first of the year they stepped up on our trade and crushed it saving us $2300. We worked with Sean Kelley a sales manager with the dealership and Shawn Riegel our sales rep. We are from N Fl so they made sure all was in order when I arrived yesterday to take delivery as it's a six-hour drive round trip. I was very pleased with the delivery it was very smooth as Sean Kelley and Shawn Riegel made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. We always name our auto daughters, and we were overjoyed to meet and take Bindi home. We so appreciate the effort made to put this deal together/close and HIGHLY RECOMMEND you give Sean Kelley/Shawn Riegel the chance to beat your best deal as they have for us on two deals since first of the year. We will always give them the final shot at any of our and family/friends future auto needs as they are now part of OUR FAMILY!!! More

Asked Erica to assign my install to Chadd Christensen as I was told he is the best at installing the hitches on the Outback Wilderness. I was definitely told correctly; Chadd did an amazing job of installing the hitch. If I hadn't known better, I would say the bumper cover came from the factory with the hitch fascia already installed. I can tell Chadd takes pride in his work and delivers exceptional services to his customers. Chadd definitely earned and deserves this 5 Star review. More
