I went in to Hammonasset Ford desperate to find a car on a Thursday, and drove out of the dealership on Saturday !!! I am located in Guilderland, NY and was looking to purchase a new Explorer. I had visited several local dealerships before finding Hammonasset Ford on the internet. They had the exact vehicle I was looking for (right color, right equipment and options). I called and spoke with Nando Varriale who was very informative and helpful. After a couple of brief telephone calls we were able to agree on a price for the vehicle. I was a little skeptical about the whole deal because of how easy it went, and the fact that I live about 3 hours from the dealership. I really wasn't sure if this would be one of those deals where once you get there, everything changes. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Nando was true to his word, and everything we agreed to on the phone was exactly how the deal was put together. One other thing I must say---Nando is not your typical "stuffed shirt", older type salesman. He is a young, energetic and very knowledgeable guy, whose passion for what he does comes through loud and clear! I especially liked the fact that he was very knowledgeable about the modern technology that these new vehicles have, and even programmed a lot of the computer apps for me. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from this dealership, and especially from Nando! It was well worth the drive for me! More
