I was not very pleased with my experience purchasing a new vehicle. The sales man was a young guy so I cut him some slack as he seemed quite inexperienced. He was also distracted and I waited long periods new vehicle. The sales man was a young guy so I cut him some slack as he seemed quite inexperienced. He was also distracted and I waited long periods of time as he was doing other things. The place is nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone when you call too. And leaving a couple messages, I received no return call. In looking at my paperwork after I was home I noticed nowhere was it mentioned that they charge a ridiculous $750 for dealer set up. On my contract it started $750 more than the sticker price with no mention what that extra amount was for. I honestly don’t believe they did any dealer set to it either. They did wash it and it looked good however when I got it home I noticed some things. Being a equipment mechanic, I checked the oil and it was not at the proper level. I also noticed the antenna wasn’t installed but looking around I found a bag of pieces under the back seat with the antenna. The whole dealership seems very disorganized several people sitting around at desks yet you are made to wait. I made an appointment to pick up my $40,000 vehicle and expected the salesman would be ready for me when I arrived. He was not and I waited over half an hour wile he was talking with other people looking at cars. Selling is his job but he should have told those people he had an appointment and they would have to wait as he had to complete a sale. Later I waited more for the finance manager to get around to me too. After three attempts trying to call the dealership the next day hoping to talk to the sales manager and no one returning my messages, I gave up. I also never received a follow up call to ask how the new car was going like other dealership do. I really hate to complain but I don’t think this dealership has good customer service or is very organized. It just was t a very pleasurable experience. I doubt I would recommend them to a friend. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. Do not buy a pre-owned vehicle from Greenwich Ford. They cheat and do not respect the terms of a limited warranty. Do not buy a pre-owned vehicle from Greenwich Ford. They cheat and do not respect the terms of a limited warranty. More
Bought a used Audi posted on the Greenwich ford website. Car was exactly as advertised and we quickly agreed on a fair price. Car was ready when I picked it up for a quick and smooth transaction. I was in the market for a pick up truck. Figured I would do better by purchasing from a "reputable, full service dealer". After I allowed them to add almost $2000 to the sale price, for "pre Figured I would do better by purchasing from a "reputable, full service dealer". After I allowed them to add almost $2000 to the sale price, for "prep fees", and I shook hands with sales manager, regarding them repairing some items prior to me taking possession of the truck, they waited until I had paid them, then informed me that the camera issue was an open recall, and they didn't fix it. I wound up taking it to another Ford Dealer, who was able to resolve and repair camera issue. HOWEVER, was NOT covered by open recall, and cost me $1250.00. I'm pretty darn sure these crooks KNEW that! I would not recommend them to my enemies..... More
