I had been involved in an accident which totaled my car so it rushed me into purchasing a new car. I had heard several commercials for this dealership on the radio and so I drove from Polk County to the Ea so it rushed me into purchasing a new car. I had heard several commercials for this dealership on the radio and so I drove from Polk County to the East Orlando Kia Location. Upon entering the building I was met with a very friendly salesman named Alexander. I explained my situation and what myself and wife were looking for in a vehicle. We were in between rain showers and Alexander did show me several vehicles. We found a vehicle a 2012 Kia Optima and then it was discovered that I had some issues with my credit from a previous dealership. I thought all was lost at this time but one of the financial advisors came to my rescue. We filled out all the paperwork and the next day I faxed everthing they needed. I was contacted and told to come pick up my vehicle. They had worked through the credit issues and even though the interest rate was not favorable at this time I will be able to refinance at a later date. All of the individuals I worked with helped us get through this most difficult time in our lives. Out of all of the dealerships I have purchased vehicles from I can say these are the best, and honest employees I have ever dealt with. On pick up day Alexander even stayed way past his time to go home to make sure we had everything we needed. When ever I need another vehicle I will be heading back to this dealership. What a amazing experience, I've been in the market for some time now, but I drended the thought of going thought this painful process of purchasing a new car. But I can honestly say my time at Orlando Kia some time now, but I drended the thought of going thought this painful process of purchasing a new car. But I can honestly say my time at Orlando Kia East was totally stress free and I would like to thank Susanne Ruppert who made all this possible. From the moment I walked in Susanne made me feel at ease by answering my questions and more importantly showing me the car that I was looking for. I was quite impressed with her knowledge of the SX Optima, this car has so many bells and whisltes,and her time given to explain them to me was truely appreciated. I cannot explain how happy I am with my new Kia Optima, this car is truely the bomb. Thank you Orlando Kia East a great car at a good price. More
My salesman, Ray Martinez, was very courteous and helpful. He not only let me drive the Sol which is the car I originally wanted to purchase, he also went over other models and explained them to me. helpful. I think I got a good deal. (??) He was very calm and did not rush me into purchasing a car just to sell a car. The finance manager that I worked with was on top of his game even though I did not buy additional warranties. Liked this dealership better than the one on 17-92 in sanford. More
I called this dealership about a 2004 grand prix for sale. I was told it was still available and verified the price with sales associate. This was at 8:30 pm. I arrived the next morning at 9:30 am with my son who wanted the car and cash and was told the car had a bad waterpump and it couldn't be sold untill it gets repaired. I was also told the car was priced twice as high as it was on the internet.I was offered other cars on the lot but when I told them I really wanted the grand prix I was told to keep checking back and have a nice day. Later that same day I recieved a call from Eric asking if I was coming by to look at the car. I tiold him the story and he said he would find out whats going on and call me back. Guess what I never got a call back. Ther fact is they used that car as a "bait and switch" technique to lure customers to their dealership. I spent my gas, wasted my time, took time off of work to get scammed by theses crooks. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE Bill More
Ray Martinez was AWESOME! He was very friendly,knowledgeable and trustworthy (and I might add a great sense of humor)! He took a lot of time and had patience with us as we made our decision. We ended up buying a bright silver SOUL and LOVE IT!!! Everybody at the dealership was very helpful and welcoming. The only part of the Kia buying experience was when we signed the papers in the finance department and chose NOT to buy an extended warranty on our new car, that comes with a great warranty to start with! We said "No thank you" many times, signed all the papers and left his office, we thought that was the end of it. When Mr. Martinez was outside trying to show us how to use all the goodies on the SOUL, the finance guy (I forgot his name) brought another finance guy outside to talk to us about buying the extended warranty! He even asked my husband why he was being so cheap! They were relentless and I finally asked him what kind of car we bought from KIA and that they are making us very nervous. That didn't even stop him. We just hopped in the car with Mr. Martinez and closed the doors and they finally went away. I have NEVER had that kind of experience at a car dealership, it really left a bad taste in my mouth. If it wasn't for Raymond Martinez and the other professional men and women in sales we wouldn't recommend this dealership, but I DO recommend it... just stay away from the pit-bull finance staff! I had the worst experience at Orlando Kia East. I originally went to Kia North and test drove a Kia Soul and I regret my decision to not go back to that dealership to buy it. I originally scheduled an appointment online for a specific car and when I arrived, Jim, who I schedule the appointment with was not even there. It was his day off and to make it worse, the car I had asked him about was not there either! I ended up working with a girl who had only been there for 3 weeks. It was pretty obvious that I knew more about the Kia Soul just by doing basic research online. There was a lot of "well I think" and "I'll check to make sure". This was extremely frustrating. It took me three days to go through the entire process, which should really only have taken 3 hours. I finally negotiated a price with one of the rude sales managers, who made it very clear that we were even lucky to be talking to him. He had no customer service skills, both him and the sales person were trying to make up excuses for Jim. Once I showed them the email discussion I had with him, they both apologized and couldn't explain why he made an appointment on his day off and told me that they didn't know why he said the car I wanted was on the lot. They were desperately trying to sell me a different Kia Soul that I did not want. The next day I came back to do financing, when I then found out that we would have to wait an hour to even talk to someone so I ended up just singing papers, transferring the tag and taking care of insurance. Jim says "I'll be back in just a minute, I need to get something". After 20 minutes of waiting I finally said something to the lady at the front desk. When we find out he's back in the office on the phone, trying to figure out the insurance. After he realized my frustration we decided that I would come back the next day to do financing. When I came in the next day, the same thing happened. They wanted me to sit around and wait for finance for an hour, which at that point was just ridiculous. So we started to look over the manual. As we are looking through it, I realized that it was for the 2011 model. At that point I couldn't believe I was dealing with such nonsense and I don't think Jim could believe it either. Overall, I ended up getting the price I wanted but not the car I wanted. They ended up losing some money on the car they sold me because it had upgrades that I didn't want/need. I am very happy with the car but extremely disappointed in the service and hassle it took me to buy the car. I felt the need to write this review because I cannot believe that this dealership is rated almost a 5, there has to be coercing going on because my experience was far from 100%! More
