Once again Mr. Abner Jackson at GreenWay Ford has provided my family with the quality service, and specialized expertise in the purchase of our second vehicle. On June 1, 2012 I found a perspective used 2003 Ford at Greenway Ford. I secured an independent pre purchase mechanical inspection from an independent mechanic. This inspection revealed the following defec Greenway Ford. I secured an independent pre purchase mechanical inspection from an independent mechanic. This inspection revealed the following defects: left C/V axle, inner tie rods and engine and transmission mounts. There was a lot of vibration while driving the vehicle. As part of the purchase negotiations, the repair of these items (deemed critical to the safe, dependable operation of the vehicle) were negotiated and sublet to High Performance Mechanics by Greenway Ford. In addition to the purchase price of the vehicle, $600 was tendered to High Performance for these repairs. These repairs were to be completed prior to delivery of the vehicle. After I received the vehicle from Greenway, I returned to the independent inspection shop and was informed that only part of the negotiated repairs had been completed; the firewall side mount and the transmission mount had not been repaired. I returned to Greenway Ford and presented my findings. I was assured that these items would be repaired by High Performance. When I received the vehicle back, the vibration was still present. On August 17, 2012 I had a reputable mechanic perform a tune up on my vehicle. They informed me that three mounts and one tie rod repaired under the agreement with Greenway Ford had prematurely failed. I went back to Greenway and ended up having to argue with them to have the mechanic look at the vehicle. The manager that I had dealt with in the past was not there, so I had to meet with someone else and explain the entire story. They initially told me that the vehicle was sold “as is” and that I needed to speak with High Performance directly. When I told them that Greenway had set up the repair work directly with High Performance they took copies of my paperwork and my check proving that I had paid High Performance. They then allowed me to schedule a time to meet with the High Performance mechanic at Greenway. The mechanic admitted that the parts had failed but said that it was due to something else. The mechanic told me that he should not even be speaking with me since the negotiation was done through Greenway and they were his customer. He said that I should have just dropped the vehicle off with Greenway and let them deal directly with him. Initially I was told that the new parts would be available the following Tuesday and to bring the vehicle in to Greenway then. I called Greenway four times that day to set up a time to drop the vehicle off. I was finally told to bring the vehicle in after 6pm. When I arrived, the manager acted surprised to see me and said that the parts would not be available until Thursday. I had to argue with him to get him to keep the vehicle since he had originally told me Tuesday. They had my vehicle for the week. When I picked the vehicle up, the vibration continued to exist. I returned to the mechanic that had completed the tune up and had the defective parts replaced for an additional cost. It is my assertion that rather than receiving $600 worth of repairs, I have received faulty parts, had to pay out of pocket for these repairs to be completed correctly elsewhere, and ended up with exasperation and frustration in my dealings with Greenway Ford. More

We bought a used 2009 jetta volkswagon. I had the car for about 4 days and took it to the volkswagon dealership before the warranty expired, so they can make sure the car was in good condition. We took it to Greenway Ford to repair it, they had it for about a week, and repeatedly told us the tires had not come in yet. My father finally went to the dealership to see what was going on and they told us the mechanic said we hit the tire with something and caused the slit. I drove the car TWICE for those 4 days i had it, and can SWEAR i hit nothing. We talked to the manager and found out the mechanics hadnt even put an order in for my tires. So my car was sitting in the dealership for a week with a mechanic that was not planning on even fixing it when it was THEIR fault in the first place for not inspecting the car properly. Then when i was complaining about my PREVIOUS experiences with the dealership i was very angry, and i had someone at the front desk threaten to call the police on me and my father. THE MECHANICS AT THIS DEALERSHIP ARE HORRIBLE AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! they have very poor customer service AND NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE A CAR HERE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE***** TO EITHER! I also looked around to other dealers in Greater Orlando, several of which seemed too busy to return my calls or follow up with me. I will admit, I spent several hours at Greenway on the date of purchase, but even while waiting the staff was polite and friendly, frequently checking in on me and my father (who accompanied me). The staff was very thorough, checking with multiple creditors to get me the best possible rate and best car possible. When I went to Greenway, I assumed I would only be able to afford a certified pre-owned car, but the finance team did an amazing job of locating a great rate for me, and were able to satisfy my search for a new car. They worked with me on selecting the best option in balancing trade in (which they gave me much more than I expected for) and found rebates to cover the down payment. I'm excited to say I selected a 2012 Ford Focus and drove it off the lot that very afternoon. My Focus was made in Michigan, came with a truly unbelievable warranty, roadside assistance, and I am thrilled to no longer worry about safety or reliability when it comes to transportation. Simply put, my experience at Greenway Ford was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Owning a Ford is a family tradition, and Greenway helped me achieve that. More
