Great memoerial day experience ending with a great car On Memorial Day, I took my daughter to see if we could trade her car for one that better met her needs. On Memorial Day, I specifically asked for Clay. I was so pleased with his professionalism and easy manner. He did not pressure us. He listened to our desires and took us out to look at his best thoughts of what might meet our needs. The very first car he showed us was exactly the car we ended up with - a beautiful 2013 Ford Focus SE with a manual transmission. From the moment we made our choice, to the time we drove away in our new car, the process we went through was smooth and amicable. Although there was some negotiation involved, I was happy with the price we agreed upon, and at no time did it feel confrontational. Overall a great experience. About 10/15 minutes after my inquiry guy called back and said he located the clip on the system did not have it available but could get me one in 3 days. After negotiating a price with a sales manager for over 15 hours I got a text message from him stating the car was in negotiations with someone else. I then spoke with his boss and she explained to me that he did not even tell her that I was interested in the car and did not get the price we agreed on cleared by her. They sold the car to who ever was in the dealership at that time and did not give me the opportunity to purchase the car even though I already had a deal with the sales man. More
