Terrible customer service, my wife spoke with them several times throughout the day and even double checked availability and let them know we were coming before we left our house. We drove 2hours away several times throughout the day and even double checked availability and let them know we were coming before we left our house. We drove 2hours away on toll roads just to show up and see the vehicle being sold in front of us. When my wife spoke to the manger they said it’s first come first serve they don’t hold vehicles for anyone. So if you live more than a few miles away don’t waste your time with this classic slimy car dealership the vehicle you want maybe sold by the time you get there. More
The worst service I have ever experienced. Have been going there for 3 years for the same problem in my car. They just put a bandage on the problem and never finished fixing it. Was given classic “bait and switch” about buying my truck outright! Went through KBB online to get offer to “sell my vehicle”, was contacted by Greenway Ford to bring in my truck to get my offer…spoke to Da outright! Went through KBB online to get offer to “sell my vehicle”, was contacted by Greenway Ford to bring in my truck to get my offer…spoke to Dalton and discussed “possible” trade for Bronco if available, but preferred to sell to get an EV. This was made VERY clear as this is not my first rodeo selling or purchasing a vehicle. (52 years old with over a dozen purchased autos in lifetime) was given a very reasonable offer and then told it included my rooftop tent, which I made, again, very clear was going on my wife’s Outback prior to appraisal. We left conversation at that for day as I still believed this was an outright purchase offer as that is what the dealer contacted me for, through the KBB website. Next day, someone else reached out from dealer in email to see what I wanted to do and I replied that I would need more than what was offered if the tent was to go. Shortly, Dalton replied stating that they can’t go to XXk for outright price sale. And the very next sentence he stated that the offer was for a trade only anyway and the sale offer would be less. Do dealerships of this size and scope actually still straight lie to people, I mean right to their face??? Absolutely NOTHING about this experience was honest or pleasurable. Anyone reading this knows exactly what I mean and have probably experienced something similar…come on Greenway…this is why car dealers are thought of as crooked as H! Word of mouth isn’t what it use to be, but Social Media is! Just be honest up front rather than false offers to get impressionable or desperate buyers in the door to take advantage of!!! What has happened to a fair offer, or fair wage for honest work? How much money do you have to squeeze out of people to be satisfied? You make some money to see a profit and the customer is treated fairly and honestly! 22 years in the Army, 22 months combat in Iraq and Afghanistan combined and this is the way some American car dealerships are still running??? I have now seen it all! Sad, just sad. More
