I've been a pretty loyal Nissan/Infiniti customer for over 20 years and FINALLY I found a dealership that would make me come back when my lease expires. This was the first time I walked out of a dealersh over 20 years and FINALLY I found a dealership that would make me come back when my lease expires. This was the first time I walked out of a dealership with no regrets....loved the car, the price was in my budget and the turnaround to go home with a car, the day they promised was excellent. My salesman, Mark Rathaus worked very hard to get me a good deal, but I must compliment the entire team who made the experience most pleasurable. Sometimes in past experiences, your given a price– but the person who handles the closing somehow adds things you weren't expecting....NOT at Great Neck Nissan. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but this is one "honest sales team". Once their new showroom is complete, I wouldn't give the other dealers in the area too much time to survive to compete with these guys. More

My wife called on Saturday 2-9-13 to confirm that they had a 2013 Armada for us to test drive on Sunday at 12 pm. After getting a babysitter and driving 1/2 hour to the dealer we were told that the truck had a 2013 Armada for us to test drive on Sunday at 12 pm. After getting a babysitter and driving 1/2 hour to the dealer we were told that the truck was not there and they were bringing it from the storage lot at Belmont Race Track and it would be there in a few minutes. (Disappointment #1) We were slightly disappointed as they stated they had the truck "on the lot and ready" when we called however we chose to use this time to price first and drive second. After spending an hour with the salesmen I asked if the truck was there yet and he stated it was not so I then asked for him to call and see where it was since it had been over an hour already. (Disappointment #2) When he came back to us after we waited another 15-20 minutes he stated that the truck was buried in the snow behind 2 others and we would need to wait until they dug out the other cars. (Disappointment #3) Now I understand that we just received a foot of snow on Friday but then why did they tell us the truck was there when it was not and why didn't they call to check on its arrival when we got there and not after wasting over an hour of our time. If they would have told us when we got there we would have gone down to GMC and tested the other choice of truck and then came back to Nissan when the truck was there. (Disappointment #4) This whole experience was poor from the very start and I am a responsible person but one oversight on their part led to another and another until I just wanted to leave. What a loss for this dealership as I was ready to pay cash and had no money owned on my trade in. It would have been an easy sale if they handled it properly. The icing on the cake of horrible customer service was that the dealership didn't even call us after the fact to try to make amends and salvage the sale or at the very least apologize for wasting my time and the money I spent on the babysitter. (Disappointment #5 & 6) More
Been leasing/financing cars for the last 13 years and this by far was the most pleasurable experience. They gave me a good price for my trade in and a good no money down lease. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked into the place. I went in through the service entrance and they welcomed me and congratulated me on my purchase. Then I worked with Stacey Baron who is by far the Most Professional, Courteous, Nice, Caring and Friendly General Manager that I have ever dealt with. One thing that struck me right away is that I was treated like a person, not a number or quota for the month. They really care about their customers there and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Also, I would like to add that they also answer all questions that I had and didn't make me feel foolish being a woman. I will definitely recommend Great Neck Nissan to anyone that I know looking for a Nissan! More

I came to Great Neck Nissan as a result of a friends recommendation. While she had recommended them early on in my car shopping process, they are about an hour from my home, so I had initially checked o recommendation. While she had recommended them early on in my car shopping process, they are about an hour from my home, so I had initially checked out cars at the Nissan of Huntington dealership. I actually put a deposit down on a potential car at the Huntington dealership, however, the service was so poor there I decided to shop around at different dealerships. This brought me to Great Neck Nissan. From beginning to end, everyone I interacted with was extremely helpful. I dealt primarily with Marc Rathaus and he completely changed my impression of a 'car salesman.' From shopping at other dealerships, I had come to expect that buying a car was just an unavoidably torturous experience and that sifting through the BS was just par for the course. This was not the case at Great Neck Nissan. Marc was very understanding that I had a specific car and price in mind and worked his hardest to make both happen. He was honest, friendly, not pushy at all and very much focused on what is best for each customer. I ended up purchasing the exact car that I wanted (2013 Nissan Sentra SR) and taking it home that day. As I had come late on a Saturday, the purchase/financing process finished after the dealership had closed. Despite this, Marc spent extra time explaining all of the features in the car in their entirety and really went the extra mile to ensure that I understood everything the car had to offer. My experience at with Marc and everyone at Great Neck Nissan was beyond my expectations and was worth the long drive; if only I had gone there to begin with! I would highly recommend them! More
My Fiancee has been dealing with this particular dealership for a few years now. We were shopping around and when i came in i wanted a specific car, model, color and etc. after an hour i did not get dealership for a few years now. We were shopping around and when i came in i wanted a specific car, model, color and etc. after an hour i did not get the rates i was hoping for but instead drew my attention to another vehicle that they had just bought into their lot. After a few hours and some negotiating i got the car i wanted and i was very Happy. Lony was helping us and Mike was the manager on duty and he was wonderful to work with. i am very pleased with the outcome and will definitely come back. I gave them this rating because i felt very comfortable there and they very nice and helpful with everything. i was glad to have come in and worked with them More
