Isiah and Louie got it done. Great experience… I had been shopping specifically for a 2006 Mini Cooper S with certain options and found one online that fit my criteria at Great Neck Nissan. As I li I had been shopping specifically for a 2006 Mini Cooper S with certain options and found one online that fit my criteria at Great Neck Nissan. As I live almost two hours away, I called ahead and spoke with a salesman named Isiah. Once I arrived at the dealership, my wife and I met with sales rep. Isiah Washington whom was very friendly, polite and down to earth. Isaiah didn’t exhibit the usual high pressure tactics that go along with car shopping at most dealerships. He was helpful, informative and during the test drive of the Mini, he allowed me to really look the car over and drive it until I felt satisfied that I got a good feel for the car. That particularly impressed me because my wife and I went to see another 2006 Mini in Waterbury C.T. before heading to Great Neck to see/drive the one they had so we got there near closing time. Although we were still out test driving the car at closing time, Isiah didn’t appear at all concerned about the time and seemed more concerned with giving me enough opportunity to really get a feel for the car. Back at the dealer we talked numbers and I feel Isiah did everything that he could to get the numbers to a fair place that would make me happy but still allow the dealer to make a few bucks on the car. In spite of his best efforts and although he got the numbers very close, I felt they could do better and I was willing to leave the car which Isiah understood. We shook hands and as I was about to leave, a manager Louie came over and asked me to give him five minutes to see if we could come to an agreement that would satisfy everyone concerned. We stayed and discussed the numbers further with Louie and Isiah and between the two of them, they made the price right for me. I was satisfied and I subsequently bought the car. They were both very professional, spoke in clear terms and made reasonable points when discussing the price of the car. Neither of them were pushy like I’ve experienced at other dealerships which made the overall experience of dealing with them a great one. For the week that I’ve owned the car so far, it’s everything they told me it was and I feel I got it at a fair price. I would recommend Great Neck Nissan and, if in the future they have a car I’m interested in at the right price, I’d definitely go back. One more thing, the dealership is pretty nice in and of itself. Bright, clean with a nice lounge area that has big screen TVs and magazines. I haven’t had any work done at the service dept. so I didn’t rate the quality of their work in that regard. Otherwise, great place to buy a car. More
