We are sorry to hear that you feel this way Scott. We do our best to be as friendly as possible, while ensuring that we do our best to fix every vehicles properly the first time. There are many different ways to contact General Motors and we would like to ensure the our Service Manager Ryan did instruct our technicians to contact GM. We followed procedure and called the appropriate GM support who then actually advised us that they didn't know the answer and to call another support line. We appreciate your patience and understand your time is valuable. Unfortunately, after many calls to different departments of GM and much research we have concluded that there are federal safety regulations preventing us from dimming the backup camera to your desired brightness level. While we wish we could help, we do also have to follow procedure and safety regulations. We do thank you for your recent visit and hope to see you back for future maintenance visits.
