Finance manager went out of his way to resolve an issue we experienced with the service department, regarding his service departments inability to locate our extended warranty for previous service visits. Sales staff was friendly and helpful. Sales rep, Jim, was absolutely terrific. Spent a ton of time with us, and when the vehicle we wanted wasn't available, he went way out of his way to locate the vehicle and get it to the lot in less than 24 hours. He personally picked up the car from a remote dealership and drove it to Gerald. Phenomenal service! Overall, excellent experience! More
GREAT Experience While visiting in the area there was a hail storm that the insurance companies classified as a catastrophy. Our 2013 Tucson received lots of damage, including a broken driver side mirror. Cody was very helpful, beyond expectations, about getting a mirror shipped in for us so we would be able to return home on Memorial day. When the mirror arrived Cody installed it for us and my wife went to run errands. She immediately called me and said looking in the mirror made her nauseas, every thing was distorted. I returned to Gerald Hyundai where I was met by Cody and Kevin. Both of them took the car into the shop where they looked for proper installation, cleaned the mirror and returned it to me. I sat in the car and it was the same problem. Kevin said he would go to the warehouse himself to get another one immediately. We said we would leave the car and return in several hours. When we returned everything was fine. I was discovered the mirror had a manufacturing defect. All the time Cody and Kevin were very sympathetic to our problem, treated us with respect, all the while knowing we lived 700 miles away and our returning for additional service probably would be highly unlikely. They treated us just like our hometown dealer, Vision Hyundai, in Rochester< New York would have.. So a BIG thank you to Cody and Kevin at Gerald Hyundai. In fact we left our trade in at home thinking this would prevent us from making any quick decisions. Surprise, surprise!!! We were dreading the whole 'shopping around' experience. In fact, we had just walked out of another dealership due to a very unpleasant experience with a salesperson. Then we met Brian York. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and actually listened to what we wanted to see and didn't try steering us into something we didn't want, or need, at a higher price. He actually made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. We couldn't believe we put a down payment on a Veracruz that night. And kudos to Ed Sparti, he walked us thru the transaction and explained everything in great detail. Excellent service!!! Our hats are off to Gerald Hyundai, you have a great team! The salesman, Peter Mendoza was very informative and took his time with our many questions. He explained all of the new technical things the car came equipped with that we did not understand. He was patient and we really appreciated that. He made buying a car a very good experience and I would recommend this salesman to anyone I know who is buying a car. The finance person was Ed Sparti. He also did not pressure us or try to talk us into buying more then we wanted. The dealership was a friendly, clean, bright atmosphere. Every person we talked to was friendly and nice. Over the past 32 years we've had several visits to car dealerships, and our visit to Gerald Hyundai was the best one we ever had. More

Everyone we dealt with, from the salesmen, to the management team - very friendly, positive and eager to make your experience great. You feel like they are truly happy you are there. These guys love where they work and the team they are a part of, and it shows. We never felt pressured, yet we felt their passion and urgency to put a good deal purchase together. These guys really want to sell you a car and do business with them, but in a positive way - not a high pressure way. We needed to look at a few other dealerships and drive a few other vehicles to confirm our decision. They let us go with a smile knowing we would be back to accept the deal they offered to us. After going to a few other dreary dealerships, we came back to Gerald Hyundai and sealed the deal. We feel 100% great leaving the dealership in our new Gerald Hyundai because we had the best possible experience. I look forward to coming back to service my vehicle and going up front to see my new friends on the sales floor and management team that helped me and my wife. It is a friendly place that I look forward returning to. I recommend these guys without reservation to any of my friends and family. We've purchased 12 cars in the last 39 years (including this one - a loaded 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.4L). Jim Serpe greeted me on my first visit openly and with just the right amount of focused questioning and respectful listening. I'd just come in for a "seat check" of the SFS, with only a few minutes to spare. Within that few minutes I'd had several key questions answered (and this after weeks of intense research - there's always something new to learn) and gained a very high comfort level with Jim. I told him that when we test drove, I'd bring my wife with me to Gerald. Jim followed up quickly with an e-mail, and I said I'd call him the day we were out looking. I confirmed he'd be there yesterday. When we arrived he was on-the-spot ready with the two models we wanted to see. The test drives were informative and pleasurable. Again, Jim had the answers to fairly advanced questions and was empathetic with Buyer Vertigo (there are almost as many variations on the small SUV theme as varieties of toothpaste, even within a single brand). After the drives we decided to forego the last test drive of the day (a brand we were already familiar with), and were shortly engaged in the negotiation process which was intense but mercifully brief - we ended up pretty much in the middle of what we were willing to pay, so the dealership made a couple of bucks and we finished with a sense of solid value, and a terrific car. The administrative process at the end with Mike was relatively painless. We'd buy from Gerald again - we still have a Subaru from their dealership next door. And we'd be happy to refer anyone to Jim. He helped make an otherwise stressful process not only bearable, but pleasant. More
