Everyone that I’ve always dealt with at Gerald ford has been outstanding!!! I have dealt with so many people in different areas, Sales, Service Finance Ect, all involved. Can’t say Enough!!!! It’s a 50 50 proposition on what type of work and communication I will get from this dealership. On my original service request, my right strut was defective. They recommended both be replaced althou communication I will get from this dealership. On my original service request, my right strut was defective. They recommended both be replaced although the left strut was still working as required. I allowed the service to be completed. About a week after they completed the service, I began to hear a squeak in the left front tire area. As a result, I brought my vehicle back on at least 4 occasions unable to consistently recreate the problem. I mentioned that this has not become an issue until the left strut was replaced. The problem over time became increasingly noticeable and finally after about my fifth visit they determined that the strut I mentioned in my first visit needed replacing. I wasted countless time going back and forth with the dealership regarding the issue and subsequent repair. Finally, I had to call the dealership to obtain an update on my vehicle as they did not follow up with me. I requested the manager and he stated he would call me about my vehicle which he never did as well. The initial service rep called me the next day. I go to this dealership specifically due to the close proximity of my residence. More
