I am updating my overall rating because the GM reached out to me. That matters a lot! The knocking is a known issue to Ford, but Gene Messer most likely wouldn’t have had time to do the repair becaus out to me. That matters a lot! The service was great, service lane is spotless, and they brought my car back to me when it was done. I called for an appointment to have my new Ford Explorer checked for a knocking sound coming from underneath the front end and get an oil change. I called to drop the car off on 12/23/2024, but we were told that the first available appointment for the vehicle to be looked at for the knocking would be 12/26. When I arrived, service advisor David Alvarez stated that they have too many cars in rotation at one time for them to even be able to diagnose what the knocking sound is. What good does it do to schedule an appointment if they don’t DO WHAT THE APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR? When we called for the appointment, they gave us 12/26; and then, said they couldn’t do the work. The good-drive in service lane, quick check in, delivery after oil change. Loved this! The bad-calling to have a preset appointment for body work or diagnostics of knocking under front end was no good. Work was not done I waited to bring my car to a dealership in my home town. All of the Ford Service Departments in the DFW area have very poor ratings. I will most likely bring my car back for oil changes. More

The customer service at the Ford dealership was outstanding. Gene Messer took excellent care of me on my truck and Caitlyn. The saleswoman was awesome.
