I highly recommend this dealership I went here to buy a new Jetta and Tom helped me find the car that I was looking for and could not be any happier! They also have a place for repairs and inspections, which is very helpful. If anyone is looking for a Volkswagen, I recommend Garvey for their up most customer service. More

Sales Staff is top notch! I have purchased two new vehicles from Garvey in the past six years. Both times were both great experiences. This past week I bought a new 17' Tiguan. I have purchased two new vehicles from Garvey in the past six years. Both times were both great experiences. This past week I bought a new 17' Tiguan. I worked with Matt Frye as my salesperson and it was fantastic. I had contacted three other dealerships in the area in regards to getting what I was looking for and almost all of them gave me a run around. I couldn't even get a price from one of the big Albany dealers without stopping by for a "test drive". From the very beginning, Matt was attentive, open, and got me the figures and cost details I was looking for. I contacted him the day before and by 2pm the next day I was signing papers and driving away in my new car. I started with just email communication with Matt and he was extremely quick to respond and even called me to go over the best finance options available so I could have all the options possible (purchase vs lease). Most of all, when meeting with Matt to discuss purchase, there was no high pressure, no pushing, and it was just relaxed and open. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership for anyone looking to purchase or lease a new VW. Great cars, great service. Thanks again Matt Frye!!! More

Total disappointment Garvey VW was servicing my wife's 2014 Touareg and wound up crashing it! Total damage was $4500. After three days of unsuccessful attempts to have pi Garvey VW was servicing my wife's 2014 Touareg and wound up crashing it! Total damage was $4500. After three days of unsuccessful attempts to have pictures emailed I drove down to speak with the owner, Mark Garvey. He explained to me he took time out of his morning that day to go look at my car at the body shop and that the damage was not bad. Mark said he asked the body shop manager if they could just buff out the damage! The body shop manager said NO. At that point Mark suggested I drive down to the body shop and take a look for myself.... And this is when the truth comes out! Body shop manager assures me Mark Garvey didn't come to body shop! I went back to confront Mark Garvey and he explained that he never really looked at my car. He says he drove to body shop but never got out of his car....at this point I tell him he looked me straight in my eyes and lied to me. He didn't care! I asked what he was going to do to make things right as my car was no longer accident free and thus resulting in lowering its value. He said he would do nothing other than have car fixed. I was extremely upset and disappointed and I let him know. A week later when car was ready I thought Mark would try and make things right.... an Apology would have been nice or maybe a few free oil changes, free car washes.....something! Nothing...... all he did was glared at me and didn't say a word. This is a guy that parks his car in the only handicapped parking spot on dealership lot!!!! Need I say more!!!! I sold my wife's VW a week later at a loss and will never deal with Garvey again! The worst dealership I have ever come across..... STAY AWAY!!!! More
