Waste of time To say my experience with Ganley Chevrolet was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I am helping to sell the car of a family member who was recently disabled and can no longer drive it. I used Autotrader’s cash offer service. Not surprisingly it came back lower than what I needed to part with the car so I decided to try and sell it privately. In the meantime I was contacted by half a dozen dealerships (sometimes multiple people from the same dealership) asking to see the car. I let each one know that I needed a much higher offer to sell, I was not going to buy anything else,and most importantly that I wasn’t trying to waste anyone’s time including my own so I was probably just going to try and sell privately. Every dealer understood and appreciated my honesty.... except one. Kendyl at Ganley Chevrolet did not. Kendyl gave me this whole song and dance about being “desperate for quality vehicles” and that they “offer more than market value”. I will admit that while I was skeptical they could make up such large margins between the offer and what I wanted, in my desire to sell the car fast for my disabled relative I fell for her line. Or should I say lies. When I arrived at the dealership for the “15 min” inspection I asked for Kendyl only to be told she’s just a scheduler. I should have followed my gut and left right then. I let the salesman take my keys and when he finally returned he made pretty much the same offer as Autotrader. He went on to explain the criteria on how the offer was formulated such as mileage, the year, make/model and how long it’s projected to sit on the lot, etc. Needless to say I was very disappointed but NOT because the offer was low but because they arrived at this conclusion using information I HAD ALREADY GIVEN THEM THROUGH AUTOTRADER! So the exact situation I wanted to avoid of wasting ANYONE’S time was the situation I was now in. I asked to speak to the manager and it was the second time I should have followed my gut and just walked out. Mark Fogliano sat down and in a condescending tone started to repeat the criteria used to formulate their offer. I stopped him and told him the issue isn’t with the offer or how they formulate it but that they had all the information needed without me wasting time at the dealership which is what I explained to this mythical Kendyl that I didn’t want to do. I’m in management and if I was presented with this situation I would have immediately apologized for the inconvenience and informed the client I would make sure Kendyl was better trained moving forward. Not Mark though. That’s not Mark’s style. His approach is to get louder, more condescending and kept repeating he’s been “in the business for 40 years” as if that should have negated his complete lack of common curtesy. At that point I asked for my keys (which the salesman still had) and as I was leaving good old Mark sarcastically yelled after me to have a good night. Very classy Ganley Chevrolet. More
Customer service Bought my car 3 months ago. I asked if they would check to see if a tire was out of balance due to a steering wheel shake (got hit from behind) since Bought my car 3 months ago. They said they would have to charge me for service and that I need to take it back to where the work was done. At least take a look since the tire is off. Now I have to take it back and be without a car due to my work scheduled and operating schedule. More

I said I want this and that and this lol. He came out with the paperwork. I was shocked! But they didn’t have a white one and I lived kinda far and said I couldn’t come back. He said he would bring it to me. He did! Showed me everything I needed. I loved my old trax and love this new one. I have bought or leased my last 3 cars from pat O’Brien willoughby. I felt guilty. But they would have never given me that deal or do everything that Cody did and is still doing.. I wasn’t pressured. I was treated with respect. I felt like family there had a lot of fun. He’s a really dedicated salesman. Works hard. And it shies. I told everyone at work to go there and see him .they won’t be disappointed. I wasn’t! More

They also worked to buy out my leased Nissan, which eliminated my last two payments and the lease break fee! Would give 6 stars if I could. More

I have asked repeatedly for the credit card to be refunded but they refuse with the excuse that we have to return to the dealership so they can push us to buy a car and apply that money towards a new car.I will never buy a car from any Ganley dealership. I hope noone else does either. More
Exceptional First Time Chevrolet Experience I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by WIlliam Johnson, I was looking for a car change after being a Honda owner for the past 17 years. He asked me what I was looking for and what my needs were and suggested looking at the Equinox; since a family member purchased one a year ago and really liked it I was excited to see it and test drive. He accompanied me on the test drive and showed me everything about the car and answered all my questions. He was not pressuring me at all and I really liked the car; he discussed pricing and payments and I decided on the car and leasing and I couldn't be happier. He worked out a leasing program with an affordable payment and a car fully loaded. I am so happy with this vehicle that I am telling everyone about not only the car but the dealership experience. Great Job!!! More

We were in search of a vehicle capable of supporting a lift to transport a scooter so my husbands quality of life could improve. An Equinox, approved by the VA, is one of the more reasonably priced vehicles able to do this. We explained our situation at the dealership. We were Not offered a test drive. When warranty came up we were told we could purchase it, not made aware of what was included with the price. Various packages were Not discussed, only the most expensive was presented. Different maintenance packages were presented. When I questioned price I was Impatiently told I should not worry about that because it would be worked into the price. The dealership pulled a Transunion report. It had a lower score than credit karma. The best the dealership could offer with the Transunion score of 692 and 50 percent down payment was 8.50 percent for 75 months. Please take advantage of our experience and shop elsewhere. Everyone, especially disabled veterans, deserve a fair, honest deal. More
