Overall bad experience I was working with the Sam's Club auto buying program and was given the name of this dealer as the local participating RAM dealer in the Sam's Club pr I was working with the Sam's Club auto buying program and was given the name of this dealer as the local participating RAM dealer in the Sam's Club program. The e-mail I got from Sam's Club said I would be contacted by one of two authorized employees at the dealership within two days. Waited 3 days and nobody from the dealership ( Gainesville Chrysler / Jeep / Dodge / RAM ) had contacted me . I called them Wednesday morning and asked to talk to the contact I was given in the e-mail , Scott Bastanzi. He was not aware of any of the info that he should have been sent ( and probably was ) by Sam's Club. He said I needed to talk to another individual in the dealership and that I could come in anytime. I set up an time to come in that afternoon. When I showed up he handed me off to their internet sales mgr and after introductions he left his cubicle and I sat there looking at the wall by myself for over ten minutes . When he came back he couldn't find any of the Sam's club contact info , either , so I started from scratch to tell him what I was looking for . In just a few minutes he found exactly the truck I was looking for at another RAM dealer in the state. Scott dropped by and told him to run the numbers and let me know what the Sam's club price. He did his thing and took the numbers to Scott before showing them to me. He returned with Scott who told me that while normally they sold the vehicles at the Sam's club price , he couldn't do it 'this time' because 'it was just too low' . He was going to have to 'add $ 1500 ' to the price. He then instructed the internet sales mgr to add the $ 1500 and then show me the price. When he showed me the price, it also had a dealer fee attached. I asked Scott about it - he said ' I'll be honest with you - that's basically pure profit'. Needless to say, I didn't buy a truck that day, and will not buy anything through this dealer. Their sales practices are deceptive and dishonest. You either are selling the vehicles at the program price or not, and its obvious they are not. I could get a 'deal' like they were offering on my own without the Sam's club program. I bought my wife's last car through the Sam's club program and it was 'as advertised' , a quick, painless experience that saved me both time and money. It was however through a different dealer and a different make of vehicle. This dealership should not be permitted to participate in this program More

These guys are the BEST! I am so happy with them. I have had my RAM 1500 for five years now and Gainesville Dodge Service Department goes above and beyond the call of duty. I really mean that. I received a call from them saying that my 5 Year Power Train warranty was due to expire and I needed to get my truck inspected before I lost the whole warranty. I was very concerned and my husband thought they were just trying to get money out of me so I called to verify that it was true. Sure enough, they told me usually it is up to the customer to remember that it is due and if it expires then the entire warranty is void. I was so super happy they called me!! They didn't have to but they did!! I love them!! So, do yourself a favor and purchase your next vehicle from Gainesville Dodge...you won't be disappointed. Their service department is terrific!! More

This was my 8th Jeep purchase But the first one in Gainsville. In the past a always drove to Jacksonville to get a better price. But not this time !!!! I purchase Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Gaines Gainsville. In the past a always drove to Jacksonville to get a better price. But not this time !!!! I purchase Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Gainesville beat the price in Jax, Gave me the Edmund true value price on my trade and beat my credit union on the loan. It was fast and Richard and Bob were great to deal with. Thanks Again !!!!! I went in to look at a 2012 Challenger. Richard was extremely helpful and not pushy. They ended up giving me a fantastic deal on my Jeep trade in ($2K) over Blue Book value and knocked $3400 off the ca extremely helpful and not pushy. Visited dealership for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Chad ask what we wanted in a new car. We stated that we were retired and traveled frequently, so for sure a navigation. We have a GPS and Nav on my I ph ask what we wanted in a new car. We stated that we were retired and traveled frequently, so for sure a navigation. We have a GPS and Nav on my I phone, but we both wear prescription glasses and need the larger screen of a Nav, as it is much easier to read and safer while driving. Also, wanted heated seats and back up cameras. My wife wanted a black Jeep. They did not have one. Also, we discussed our price range. Russell Hilbert, Sales Manager, came in and says he has a used 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited totally loaded with all of the equipment that we wanted. It had 28000+ miles on it. Chad asked if we want to drive it. I decline, but he said it was required. My wife drove around the block as Chad describes the vehicle, but he didn't say anything about Nav (my mistake for not asking). The vehicle had the large screen for the back up cameras. We became weary after being at this car dealership so long. We just wanted to complete the deal and go home. Russell sticks his head in the door a couple more times. We wanted to confirm that the vehicle had Nav. He says it did not come with Nav, but it was installed at the dealership. We decide to buy the Jeep and now we know why they did not try to demonstrate the Nav. Well, I saw the screen, they said it was included. After four hours, I just wated to go home. I drive my truck and my wife drives the Jeep. Later at home she says she can't find the Nav and I told her that we would figure it out later. Well, there is a screen, there is backup cams and it is a Limited, but no Nav. We call to discuss the problem, but they don't know what we are talking about. I called Bobby Cogswell, General Manager, He had been driving this Jeep. I ask him to confer with Chad and Russell, but they denied that we insisted on Nav. They said you bought what you bought. Liars, every one of them. Only ones satisfied that day was Gainsville Dodge/Jeep. More
