Shady dealership built on lies Horrible dealership tried to get a deal going AFTER THEIR REP CALLED ME! for the second time they led me around for 4 days all the while being told by Horrible dealership tried to get a deal going AFTER THEIR REP CALLED ME! for the second time they led me around for 4 days all the while being told by everyone I talked to that they would work out a deal just hold on a little longer a little longer a little longer all the while actually blowing me off. They told me yesterday 2/29/20 that I was on the back burner basically because they were too busy to get to me after having already led me around 3 days at that point. Talked to the sales manager Tony Sullivan today asked for the owners number and he stated "I'm as high as it gets." So not only do their reps lie their xxxxx off and drag you around but apparently this dealership isn't owned by anyone or he flat refused to give me their owners number. I was lied too multiple times, brought down to the dealership the first time to be turned away got a call from their rep who promised me a vehicle a 2019 dodge journey who then led me around for 4 days on false promises. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TOYED WITH! I'd give them negative stars or no stars if I could. More

Constant Miscommunication about extended Lifetime warranty I bought the lifetime Powertrain extended contract when I bought my car and literally had to spend 100's of hours over the phone to get reimbursed I bought the lifetime Powertrain extended contract when I bought my car and literally had to spend 100's of hours over the phone to get reimbursed for years worth of payments I made for services that were covered under my contract. I did get reimbursed Finally, and they were supposed to have corrected the error in the system. But Again, they did not update the information and I had to pay for the item covered under contract. Supposedly the service manager was going to "take care of it and get my money back in a few days" but a month later after calling for an update several times since then , I was informed " Will" the district manager" had not gotten back to him yet." So I have to do their job again and try to figure out how all this works , just to get reimbursed for something covered under a contract. DO NOT get involved with Dodge, you'll be so sorry! More
WORST place to buy a car I traded in my vehicle on December 15, 2018. It is now January 24, 2019 and the bank still has not received a check from the dealership. No one at the dealership is professional enough to take responsibility or even say sorry. They're so nice to you when they're trying to sell you a vehicle, but once the deal is done, the niceness quickly goes away. I'm giving this place 1 star, because I like my new car, but if I had to do it again, I'd drive the extra 45 minutes and go to Phillips Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Ocala where people are actually nice and treat others with respect. Everyone at Gainesville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are equally messed up and rude, but the person I'd like to thank the most for my experience is Mr. John Brooks. I'd like to thank him for making me realize that I'd NEVER want to come to this dealership again. I honestly don't know how he became a general sales manager. John Brooks needs to be fired asap. Whoever is reading this, I'd strongly encourage you to drive to Phillips in Ocala, and to avoid Gainesville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at all costs, you'll thank me. More

I was never called from management to resolve this issue and even wrote corporate. I got the response that a complaint had been on file and if the management felt it was necessary they would call me.... AND CRICKETS! Well guess what? My husband was driving home on the highway from the dentist today with my daughters in the car. They heard a snap! The sunroof snapped back. This scared my husband. The piece could have snapped off and hurt someone behind them. So I called the 1800 number found on the website today. I spoke to a nice man that helped me file my second complaint and what is so messed up is he thought it was ridiculous and that my warranty was good until 8/30 (We went to Dodge on 8/6). He said he saw on the day I brought it in that our miles were at 36,321. He mentioned that he thinks it crazy that the Joe would not offer us a Concession Dealer Good Will being that our miles were so close to 36,000 that we tried to make an appointment on 7/26 and didn't get seen until 8/6. SMH! More

They also called from another outfit called "Lake City Chrysler" with the same nonsensical story. Strongly advise against partonizing these idiots. More
Untrustworthy I filled out everything online and let them know my complete situation, credit needed work, no money to put down right now, looking for a van, and had I filled out everything online and let them know my complete situation, credit needed work, no money to put down right now, looking for a van, and had a older van to trade in. Talked on the phone with sales, texted sales, got sent info on van I really liked, only to be told sister store had already sold it. Was then told they had a van picked out for me and they wanted to show me that and some SUV's. I double checked that they could really help me with everything I had told them, I was assured they had it covered and nothing to worry about. Get there, was show svu first that was out of my monthly payment, then got to see van I was told about, it was workable. Test drove it, made sure every time sales asked if I could get money down or co signer I said no. Finally decided to get van, signed paperwork about price, trade in value, and 4 square chart about what I had down. Signed paperwork for how much payments would be, and then we agreed that I would take current van home get all my kid's stuff out and pick up new van after work next day. Missed calls from sales while at work, when I got off called and was told the bank required $1000 dollars down for deal, I said didn't have it. Sales said they would call me right back, was then told I needed $500 down and it had been a miss communication between a finance guy who was just filling in at their store and it had been like that all along, he just didn't inform the sales person correctly. They tried everything to get me to come up with down payment from asking family members to seeing if I had anything I could sell to get the money down. I am so disappointed, I was upfront and honest with them, I'm a divorced single mom with 2 kids, I asked multiple times why the paperwork I had signed didn't have any of that on it and was told paperwork wasn't valid because of the finance companys offer wasn't correct. It's not my fault your team members messed up, you should honor your word and contract's. I will tell everyone who ever asks me about this dealership and post a review every where I possibly can. This is the biggest conniving dealership in Gainesville.👎👎 More
