This dearlership is awesome in all categories especially working with Carlos Scaloni and Jim in finance. I purchased a new 2022 Passport from them. I am a repeated customer and feel right at home with them. I would give them an overall 10 and would reccommend them to other customers. They don't stand behind their cars, and sell vehicles that are unsafe to drive. I bought a "certified pre-owned" vehicle from them that supposedly had just been inspected for safety. Turns out it actually suffers from a really common problem (for that model) with the braking sensor that causes it to randomly slam on the brakes on the highway (terrifying). I first experienced this less than a week after buying the car - they wouldn't even consider taking it back (or providing a permanent fix). Most major used car sellers (like carvana or enterprise) will take a car back within 7 days, no questions asked, but these folks won't even take one back if it turns out they sold a car that's unsafe to drive. I went to a dealership because I don't mind paying a premium for a safe, guaranteed car - if I wanted to roll the dice on whether basic safety features worked, I'd go to Craigslist. More
I was looking for Honda Ridgeline and contacted Friendly Honda. The sales person called me back and gave me his price for the car. In 30 min he called me again and said that the price will be $1500 bigger because his manager wants more money. I stopped the deal immediately and locked my credit card account. I had an awesome first experience at Friendly. The process was smooth from beginning to end as I was trading in an older Honda CRV and ended up leasing a brand new 2021 Honda CRV-SE! He truly is an exceptional sales consultant, meeting his customers needs when it comes to vehicles and I would recommend anyone to work with him in the future! More
The first review I came upon when coming to this site described the finance person, Jim, as reprehensible and a bully. Pretty much the same reason I’m leaving a review here. If I had any issue with Bob at all it was misinformation he passed onto us regarding how we would be receiving our car loan bill. That’s not really his department, so perhaps someone else passed along the wrong information to him. I also emphasized several times that our mailing address and street address were different, and they needed to note that on any forms, as anything sent in the mail to us needed to go to the PO Box. I just spoke with the finance company, and the dealership did not include our PO Box on the forms. I had to correct that with the finance company today as we will be receiving our bills by mail. Now, the reason I called the finance company today was because of a complete lack of confidence that Jim and the dealership processed our application correctly and sent it in. Our feelings on this came about after a phone call from Jim to my husband approximately two or three weeks ago. He called my husband while my husband was at work to tell him that my husband had to come back to the dealership as soon as possible and re-sign the finance papers because due to an error on their end in reporting the mileage to the finance company the interest rate was going up. In addition to being upset that we had signed papers expecting a particular interest rate, my husband was also taken aback by Jim’s incredibly rude behavior on the phone. My husband explained that not only are we 50 minutes away from Poughkeepsie, but he is out of the house from 5 AM to 8:30 PM and works most Saturdays. This was not something that occurred due to any fault of our own. Jim immediately started trying to bully my husband and threaten him into coming in by saying they would come and take the car. My husband did not adamantly refuse to come in. What he stated to Jim was that he wasn’t going to be able to come in the next day, and would have to try and work it into his schedule and probably take an hour off from work. At one point in the conversation Jim reluctantly agreed to contact the finance company to see if they would keep the loan at the current interest rate. My husband asked Jim to call him back the next day to let him know. At 2 PM the following day my husband had still not heard back from Jim. He ended up calling Jim, and Jim was very gruff and said it was all taken care of. What I fail to understand is if other customers have been treated the same way by this finance person, why is he still in the finance department, or at the very least why has he not been retrained in how to perform better customer service? I will be shopping for a new car in the next year or so. I will not be looking for one at Friendly Honda. More

She also patiently waited around for THREE hours before deciding to go with a much better offer at Yonkers Honda and he flipped! She remained apologetic through the entire scene he made as she is extremely shy, innocent, polite and does not like conflict. General manager is a joke. How can you allow your staff to outright disrespect potential clients or anyone for that matter?!? Shame on you! Unbelievable, unprofessional and unacceptable. More

He didn't rush me, and always answered my questions with knowledge and expertise. He showed me Lease/Finance breakdowns/options, facilitated my Test Drive, and reassured me about the vehicle's build, make, and reliability. Also, I'm so grateful to Casey (Business Manager), who finalized my purchase. She, like Carlos, knows her job frontwards and backwards. She helped me learn about loans, coverage, and financing. She was so professional and clear. I trust Friendly Honda, and cannot say enough about my positive experience. Carlos, Casey, and team made car searching/buying a wonderful experience. My recent salesman was Carlos, and he listened to what I did and didn't want, didn't pressure me into making my decision, and an couldn't be happier!
