They don't stand behind their cars, and sell vehicles that are unsafe to drive. I bought a "certified pre-owned" vehicle from them that supposedly had just been inspected for safety. Turns out it actu that are unsafe to drive. I bought a "certified pre-owned" vehicle from them that supposedly had just been inspected for safety. Turns out it actually suffers from a really common problem (for that model) with the braking sensor that causes it to randomly slam on the brakes on the highway (terrifying). I first experienced this less than a week after buying the car - they wouldn't even consider taking it back (or providing a permanent fix). Most major used car sellers (like carvana or enterprise) will take a car back within 7 days, no questions asked, but these folks won't even take one back if it turns out they sold a car that's unsafe to drive. I went to a dealership because I don't mind paying a premium for a safe, guaranteed car - if I wanted to roll the dice on whether basic safety features worked, I'd go to Craigslist. More

I was looking for Honda Ridgeline and contacted Friendly Honda. The sales person called me back and gave me his price for the car.
