I have a 2014 Ford Focus that stopped working at the beginning of the second week in August. My usual mechanic tells me I need to take it to a dealer, but that the part and repair is under warranty. My first mistake was choosing to bring it to this place. The first employee I met, Nico, told me that it was only one specific code that was covered. It was late so I left it at that for the evening. I did some research on my own that night, and found information which completely refuted what Nico had told me. For reference this is Ford CSP 14M02. I came back with this document in hand, where I spoke with Clay, who once again asserted that it was only one of the 4 listed error codes that qualified for the warranty. He said he would bring in the car to have the codes pulled and let me know after the weekend (this was the next Friday). TWO WEEKS go by and I haven't heard anything, so I call in, only to be told that they haven't even looked at the car yet. It is important to point out that the part needing replacing has a massive backorder on it currently, so it is a really bad look to be further delayed by at least two weeks due to technician incompetence. During the wait, I contacted Ford to see if anything the technicians told me was true. As you can probably guess, no it wasn't. They referred to exactly the same document I had furnished earlier, and confirmed that my vehicle was under warranty if it displayed any of the codes listed. This is going to be a close to $1000 dollar repair without the warranty, and these techs had the nerve to lie to me about the warranty that by rights I am eligible for. More
Barbee’s Freeway Ford Service Center is the worst service center we have EVER been to. I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy to visit this amazingly incompetent, inconsiderate, inaccessible service center. Our center we have EVER been to. I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy to visit this amazingly incompetent, inconsiderate, inaccessible service center. Our 2019 Expedition we brought in for a recall back in early June and more than two months later with multiple visits to this horrible place because they could never get the fixes right, ended up replacing the whole engine. We now had it back less than a week and the car won’t even start. If Ford would buy their lemon back, we would do that in a heartbeat and truth be told we will NEVER buy another Ford again. Stay as far away from this service center as possible!!!!! More

This is my 2nd purchase with Curtis Intagliata. I told him I needed a car for my soon to be 16 year old daughter. He kept an eye out for the perfect car within my budget. He was very patient ,explained the buying process and answered all of her questions regarding the truck. Lee in finance helped me again with the financial side of the transaction. He was great also. Their service department is unreliable. Made a comment about it on the phone with the scheduler she said “that will be nice”. Get there on Memorial Day and they’re closed. Wouldn’t have assumed that they were open if I didn’t have an appointment and if google maps didn’t say they were open but according to google and my appointment they were open! I called the next morning got it in on Tuesday May 31st. Was told they’d do the door hinge recall first then diagnose the problem which we knew was with the transmission. Thursday June 2nd I get a call this is what needs to be done this is how much it costs. Said I had to talk to my parents. Called and texted the shop Friday morning. Monday night I get a call saying “hey what’s the decision on the car nothings being done right now”. Get confirmation it will be ready Friday. They didn’t start working on it until Wednesday but we wouldn’t know that until we pick up the car and are looking at the paperwork at home. Friday I called again for an update and was told they were just starting to put it back together. I wouldn’t have called if the person who was driving me didn’t live an hour away from the shop- I would’ve trusted they would call by the end of the day or early the next day. I wouldn’t have gone to this shop if I didn’t need a transmission technician. I picked up my car Tuesday June 14th and today June 15th my car overheated, stalled, and leaked fluid everywhere. Brought my car to that Ford shop and it will need even more repairs now. I’ve just moved into an apartment in the area (still about 30 min away) and am currently on a job search. I’m under 21 and have no access to rental cars. My car was sitting in that shop with nothing being done for an extra week and they didn’t even fix it to a point I can drive it. There was little communication from the shop and when there was it wasn’t helpful. More
Word of wisdom, If you visit the dealership and run into Brent Danner, Just run.All he does is spew lies, his word means xxxx! We have purchased 3 vehicles from Barbies Ford, and i decided to order a new 2022 F250, ordered in oct 2021 received it last month.Ok cool i knew it would take 5 to 6 months so that was fine..Signed a order agreement for one price it arrived and was approx $2200.00 more.What do ya do? They wouldn’t budge even after 3 previous purchases, Thats when lying pile of xxxx Brent Danner got involved..omg this guy! Went ahead with the process and then the games started with the Trade in,I am not going into great detail only to say that Brent Danner is a so full of xxxx and lies. Don’t believe a thing that comes out of his mouth. Here’s the thing if you have been waiting for 6 months you would expect some integrity from them, But evidently this dealership has the attitude of “ xxxx you we can just sell it to some one else since there aren’t any” Pretty much the sums up my conversation with Danner.. I went ahead with the deal even after all the xxxxxxxx with Danner, If it wasn’t for Codey Hauser and Ron in finance i would have walked, But i had waited so long for my new truck i did the deal. I have been a Ford owner all my life, Guess they sold there last one here. What these dealerships fail to recognize is one day things will go back to normal in the auto industry. It’s at that time they will realize all there regular customers they xxxxed over will have found new dealers to work with. More
