UPDATE: Since I posted this message a week ago, I have been contacted by the people at Freehold Chrysler Jeep, and spoken to management in person. They listened to my story, actually seemed to care about been contacted by the people at Freehold Chrysler Jeep, and spoken to management in person. They listened to my story, actually seemed to care about my reasoning on why I walked out on the deal and the input on what would have kept me from walking out, and asked if there was anything they could do for me. Aside from getting me my 500 dollar deposit back, I said there wasn't much since the car had been sold. They checked their other dealers for another Altima Coupe for me, and are getting me my deposit back within the next few days. Like I said in my original review, the guys here are not bad people, don't play any BS games, and aside from the 995 dollar fee, my experience was 95% pleasant. While I still wouldn't recommend this dealership to my friends/family, I have updated my ratings some to reflect the experience a little bit better (generally POSITIVE). I hope this helps you make an informed decision about your potential car purchase from this dealer. If you go in knowing there will be an extra cost on your used car, you can still get a great car for a reasonable price without being surprised. I came here originally 2 weeks ago looking at a Nissan Altima Coupe, which I didn't really do much more than look at due to time restraints. I got a call that night from a follow up representative who told me there was another Altima Coupe coming in soon that was similarly priced. I went in to check it out last Saturday, and this is where things got sketchy. The dealer could not locate thee car for about 2 hours, drove us to prep, to their off-site lot, and then back to the dealership, only to go back to prep where I found the car in about 10 seconds sitting up on a lift. Needless to say I couldn't test drive the car, and I could only look at it briefly. We got back to the dealer with Keith, who had accompanied us on the second trip to prep along with the original salesman Matt Lawrence (who was relatively new). We sat back down at the desk and agreed to a price of 14,900 for the car, which is a great price for the car, I admit. Keith then proceeded to try to sell me the car right there on the spot, without letting me get a test drive, carfax, or anything like that. I ended up putting 500 down to hold the car so they wouldn't sell it until I could come back, drive the car, and get my dad in for the financing. Went back Monday and Wednesday and the car was still in prep. Finally was able to test drive it briefly Friday, but Matt was busy with another customer and I wanted to get to Good Friday service, so I quickly departed. Went back Saturday afternoon with the intention of working out all the details (trade in, carfax, warranty) so my dad wouldn't have to waste his time Monday doing it. Noticed a very large scrape on the front left bumper, which prep had apparently missed or decided it didn't want to touch up Keith then sat me down on Saturday and told me that since they'd been holding the car for a "week" (despite the fact it didn't get on the lot until Wednesday evening at best) they couldn't hold it for me any longer unless I took it home for the weekend. At this point, I was pretty sure this was the car I wanted, so I agreed to bring it home. Brought it home and everything was great aside from the scrape and a few minor scratches (which I could live with) Went back Monday with my dad, sat down with Matt, who proceeded to have us fill out the same information about 5 times and disappeared after each paper, totaling about 2 hours of totally wasted time. Finally sat down with Anthony from Financing, and the first thing he tries to do is get us to sign the registration! We wanted to talk numbers first, obviously. After being told numerous times the fees would be about 1500 dollars, it turned out the fees were 2500 due to an "internet pricing fee" of $995. That, on top of some over priced fees (400 for what would have been 150 at the DMV) really put a sour taste in our mouths Now, since the price Keith and I had negotiated had nothing to do with the internet price, no internet price was ever mentioned (or listed on the website, for that matter) and no 1000 fee was ever mentioned, we obviously wanted this fee removed. Keith proceeded to tell us that was impossible, that they'd be losing money on the car, and we couldn't do the deal. We left and about 5 minutes later Matt calls me saying we can do the deal after all. We turn around and head back only to have Matt call again and say that they can't do the deal after all. Point of the whole story isn't that they are shady, or anything like that. I typically felt comfortable with them, aside from the first Saturday when Keith tried to push the sale, then pushed the deposit. The point is they are not up front and honest with their customers about their negotiated pricing. I could have dealt with and extra 600 or 700 on the price if they had mentioned it up front, but to spring a 1000 charge on someone right before they buy the car is just bad business. More

I have purchased several cars in my life but I can not say they were as pleasurable as this last experience I had with Freehold Jeep. I walked into the delaer on a rainy afternoon and was greeted by the say they were as pleasurable as this last experience I had with Freehold Jeep. I walked into the delaer on a rainy afternoon and was greeted by the sales manager Patrick who then introduced me to Bill Morgan. I sat will Bill and went over what I was interested in and he was very knowledgable and steered me in the right direction. Bill was very polite and personable. Bill had a vehicle I was intersted in on the lot so we took it for a test drive and when we returned I told Bill I would like my wife to drive it as well he agreed. Bill was only scheduled to work until 5pm but had offered to stay late so my wife could come and test drive the vehicle. We eventually came to terms and I purchased the car thatr night but if it was not for Bill I probably would not have purchase the vehicle that night but he was so patient and stayed several hours on his own time to help me out with this purchase. I highly recomend this dealer and their profesionalism to anyone looking for a NEW JEEP! Thanks so much for all the help. More

I bought a car today from this dealership. The gentleman that we dealt with Mr. Artie Nudelman was such a delight. We enjoyed dealing with him. He answered all our questions and really helped us decide wh that we dealt with Mr. Artie Nudelman was such a delight. We enjoyed dealing with him. He answered all our questions and really helped us decide what we wanted to do as far as buying or leasing. I was so pleased with his professionalism and his knowledge of all aspects of buying a car. When I decided what I wanted, he immediately set about getting the exact car, color and made sure it had all the extras that I requested. Mr Nudelman has a great since of humor and a great personality. If we decide to buy another car I would definitely go back to Mr. Nudelman Also, Mr Mangano was very informative on the payments, and on any questions we asked. He answered quickly and was very knowledgeable More
Salesman (Bill Morgan) was great. He knew what we wanted and followed through on previous conversation. Only concern (which is no reflection on Mr. Morgan) is amount of time spent at dealership and the same and followed through on previous conversation. Only concern (which is no reflection on Mr. Morgan) is amount of time spent at dealership and the same information is copied into multiple forms. Process should be streamlined. Also, as the dealer is busy getting deal done, there is alot of down time. Great opportunity to show car features to customer, because once deal is done, we want to leave. Dealership is lucky to have someone as professional as Mr. Morgan. He reflects an ideal salesman. Sad to say that is not the case for all salesman at this dealership. As I sat and waited for my deal, I saw this elderly couple as basic and simple questions of their salesman and he just blew them off. More
