TWO DAYS later recvd phone call that the bank would not approve the deal. I had to return the jeep, add more money, or raise payment amt. Was very upset told them I would try but didn't think I could do anything more. They told me to keep the car and they would use their favors with the banks to try to get it approved. The deals were endless. Each day, they came up with a new amount that they wanted. Finally, I told them I wanted to return the jeep. Thats when I had the pleasure of speaking with the everfriendly Bill Morgan. He told me all was approved at the original price and I just had to come in to resign papers. When I went back in, they still were coming up with new numbes and Bill said he didn't know why they told him to tell me the deal was ok. I said I would not go on any more, I wanted to return the car. THEN, Wally (the actor) got involved. He told me they did not have my car anymore to give back to me. He said I had to settle for whatever amount they came up with that they got approval for or get my own financing or pay cash for the car by the next day. When he left the office for a minute, Kenny told me I was forbidden to leave the dealership and that he would reposess the jeep and they also were going to keep the car I traded in. When I got up to leave, Wally told me to meet him back on Monday and the payment would be only a couple of dollars more. On Monday, I went back to see Wally and I was told by one of the others that he is on TV and I should talk to someone else. I saw Bill Morgan who was talking to me until Ed the finance person was done with a customer. When Ed came over, Bill, trying to be funny and cute, made an inappropriate suggestive comment and Ed told him he couldn't believe he wd say something like that in front of me. I walked away from the jerk and in to sign the papers. The one key that came with the car was broke and the horn didn't work. They kept telling me not to worry. I signed the papers, they charged me for the key and also if I want to have the horn fixed. I had to give them $500 more to end this disaster. AFTER ALL THIS-----I saw my car THAT I TRADED IN that they told me they got rid of----on the lot with a FOR SALE sign on it. They had the car all along, but forced me into keeping this jeep. I called and noone would return my call. Even Barbara, the owners sister, told me she would go and pull all of the paper work and call me right back. I tried to call her over and over and she will not take my calls. THEY ARE A DEALERSHIP OF LOW LIFE MEN WITH THE MOVIESTAR WALLY AT THE HEAD OF THE LOT. aS FOR THE SCUM ...BILL MORGAN...my son went in and told him he should appologize for his inappropriat comment to me and he said he did that because I walked up to him and said 'Im gonna punch u in the nose' --now that even makes any sense!!!!!!!!! And as for WALLYYYYY when he heard about the comment told my son he had enough of this deal and he wanted him to get the 'F' off of HIS property. WHOOOOO WHOOOO what a way to handle your customers!!!!YOU GO FREEHOLD CHRYSLER JEEP I would want WALLYYYYY and sales managers like Bill Morgan running my business!!! More

Just a disclaimer first, this review will be a bit lengthy. I'd like to truly convey the experience I had at this dealership without leaving any details out. I buy cars for a living, as I work for my lengthy. I'd like to truly convey the experience I had at this dealership without leaving any details out. I buy cars for a living, as I work for my families car service's in central jersey as a Fleet Manager, so I have a good understanding of the process involved. For starters, I had been to Sansone Chrysler Jeep in Woodbridge prior to visiting Freehold. I left that dealership because they couldn't meet me on a price I felt comfortable with. No problem with that at all, they did their best to make me a customer and I decided I wanted to shop around because of the price. Upon arriving at Freehold Chrysler, I waited a few minutes for a few of the managers to size me up from their desks before one approached me and asked me if I needed help. I told him I was looking to lease a new Grand Cherokee X package. The manager told me he would set me up with Matt, one of his salespeople. After meeting Matt and discussing options and lease deals, we took a new black Grand Cherokee for a test drive. I have to say, Matt was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, was able to explain several things that weren't shown to me at Sansone, and overall was a great guy and a ton of fun to talk to. We hit off on lots of things and I felt like Matt was an old friend, not just someone selling me a car. Things were going great once we got back to the dealer and I was excited about negotiating for the car. I explained to Matt my experience with Sansone and he assured me they were easy to negotiate with and he would do everything to make me a customer. I let Matt know I was interested in a 0 down 0 signing fee 0 acquisition fee type lease that a lot of dealers are running at the moment, and I wanted a payment in the low $400's for 36 months with 10k miles. Matt went in the back and came out to let me know we were nowhere near what I wanted to pay. I told him that was OK and that I would be back at a later time with a down payment. Instead of letting me walk, Matt actually offered a lower priced Jeep Liberty as an option. I thanked him and told him I was interested in the Grand Cherokee only, but that his offer was appreciated. At that point, he asked me for a moment to discuss with his manager once more. Matt left momentarily and came back with good news. They were willing to come down to $498 a month on an X package. This was thanks to the DM Wally Darwish. According to Matt they had applied a bunch of discounts available to my deal and were able to offer me this great deal. I was comfortable with these terms and agreed to a deal. Matt shook my hand and congratulated me and went to retrieve the paperwork. After signing all the credit documents, I signed off on paperwork that acknowledged a few various dealer terms. Nothing legally binding. Matt told me the car was in front washed up and that if I'd like, I could start transferring my belongings into my new truck. I was very excited, the Jeep was beautiful! I actually couldn't believe it was going this smooth so I said "Wow, that's it? I'm all set?" his response was "Yes, I just cleared everything up and your good, you'll need to sign off on the financing paperwork but other then that your set!". I took the next few moments outside while Matt ran back in, to begin transferring my belongings. As I finished with the last item, Matt came back out looking distressed. He approached me shaking his head and simply said "They've made a huge mistake and I'm so sorry." So here I am, with the keys to the Jeep in my hand, all my belongings moved into the new car, and he's telling me there's been a huge mistake. Very unsettled, I asked him what the mistake was. Apparently the "mistake" was that some of these coupons or deals, didn't apply to the specific Jeep I was purchasing (The X package Grand Cherokee). So my monthly payment would actually be $531 a month. I was completely shocked. Here I was excited and relieved my car shopping was done with a beautiful new truck and a deal I was more then happy with, and now they were changing the terms in the parking lot. I asked to speak to the manager. Apparently, this major "mistake" wasn't major enough to keep the manager from high tailing it out of the dealership before I could respond. I removed all my belongings from the new car, put them back into my car, handed the keys back to Matt and left infuriated. Obviously I don't believe for a split second there was any mistake made. I signed off on no binding agreements involving my monthly payment. And that was my fault. So they attempted to get me so far through the process without committing to a price, then spring a new one on me as I finished putting my belongings into the new vehicle, basically figuring I would go for it after all that. In my life I've never dealt with bigger snakes. I think the one thing that really upset me the most was how betrayed I felt by the salesman who seemed to be so genuine, yet who was no doubt involved with the whole plan. Truly truly sickening. I've dealt with shady sales tactics before, but this one takes the cake. I would recommend this dealer to NO ONE, and I personally will NEVER consider a Jeep product again. An awful experience. Thanks for taking the time to read. More

Ali and the entire team at Freehold Jeep were very easy to work with, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable with my purchase. They were able to work out a deal which provided me with to work with, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable with my purchase. They were able to work out a deal which provided me with the parameters I was looking for and made the purchase process as quick and easy as possible. The finance manager (for whom I cannot remember his name) was also very helpful, answered all of my questions, and guided me through the paperwork process with delight. I would recommend this dealership to others looking for a great deal and a staff that is the complete opposite of the negative perception of cars salesman. More
I felt like I got a good deal on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, on price, trade-in, and financing. I bought a new car there 5 years earlier. Maybe they are just good at making people feel that way but I' Cherokee, on price, trade-in, and financing. I bought a new car there 5 years earlier. On the evening of 11/28/2011 it was pouring rain and I was tired. I had just got off work and drove directly to this Chrysler/Jeep dealership in attempt to puchase a new car! As my daughter and I headed t was tired. I had just got off work and drove directly to this Chrysler/Jeep dealership in attempt to puchase a new car! As my daughter and I headed toward the doorway we were imediatly greated by this hansome young man named Ali! He had a big smile on his face, in fact he kept a smile throughout the whole time! I was very impressed with the decor of the place. The show room was very clean the music was soothing and the staff were very friendly. As I went too sit down with this young man i'm thinking that he's very nice but too young to really understand what I needed! So as I explained to Ali why I was there to buy a car. Ali gave good eye contact as well as asking me what kind of vehicle size and so on that I was looking for. Immediatly I became impressed! As he listen to my terror story with my last vehicle, I noticed him jotting things down. I later found out that he would remember some of the things that I had told him that I wanted or did'nt want. My daughter was with me and she was very impressed too! She thought he was funny! He made me laugh too! I'm a very outspoken person and I want to make sure that I am satisfied, so I asked a lot of questions before we went out to look at cars. Ali was calm as he responded. He showed me a few vehicles that I was not sure of, yet determind to please his customer he continued to search. We test drove one car then another and just then I decided on a vehicle. The time was a little long spent but it was worth it! We had a good time! Ali is a good guy as well as a good salesman! And I got a "Great" car! I couldn't wait to tell my friends and family! More
