To add insult to injury, they left my truck dirtier than when I arrived. More

Jesse shown concern and after hearing the problem had a possible reason due to previous sounding issues. Checked me in quickly and confirmed warranty was still good. Once the mechanic was able to assess, quickly told me the issue and that my warranty will cover the repair. Provided a rental car while the repairs were being completed. Great customer service, and took care of concerns. Now I will be looking for a used car for my soon to be 16y/o, freedom is now on the list of places to look. More
The follow up customer service has been awful. I bought my truck in October 2022 and I was told that they were out of stock for wheel locks for my truck and they would have more in about 2 weeks. I bought my truck in October 2022 and I was told that they were out of stock for wheel locks for my truck and they would have more in about 2 weeks. They gave me a signed agreement that they owe me wheel locks when they come. Here we are 4 months later and I still have NO wheel locks. I have spoken to several employees in every department and the issue has now become that the wheel locks are on a National back order and they don’t know when they will be getting some in. But I can go to a Auto zone or any other car place and they have wheel locks or better yet order from Amazon and they have them and the kicker is I can order them from the Chevrolet website. However, the dealership says they are on “back order”. Would not recommend buying there because once you leave and drive off their lot with a new car they no longer care about their obligations to their customers. More
Worst service experience I have ever had. Took my truck in at my scheduled time of 7:30AM to be serviced for brake pads. I received the text link to review additional services that were recommended by the technicians. I declined getting my rotors replaced, although I still needed the brake pads, and I accepted the other recommendations to have some fluids done. I called 4 times later that afternoon trying to get ahold of someone for an update on when my truck would be ready for pick up (I was told at drop off that it would be ready that afternoon). No one answered or returned my calls. I tried texting the number that was provided, no responses. Thankfully, I was able to drive a company truck home that night. No one attempted to get in contact with me that my truck would have to stay overnight because it was not ready when they said it would be. Had I not had a ride, I would have been stranded with no update from the dealership. Not thankfully, on my way back into the dealership the next morning, a deer had hit me almost totaling the company truck I shouldn't have been driving in the first place had the dealership been properly communicating with me on the status of my vehicle. The next morning, I tried to call again several times for an update, again, no one answered. Several messages were left for Jesse that he never returned. It was around 9AM when I finally got a text message that I could pick it up. Upon arriving, I was informed of my total of about $415, which seemed low as the estimate provided was closer to $600. After reviewing the receipt, the brake pad service that I had originally taken my truck in for was not done. "Miscommunication on their end". Even though, I had text the number confirming that I still wanted to have my brake pads replaced after reviewing the link that was sent to me, and I was assured via text that both the front and rear pads were still listed to be done. Later that day when I got home, my husband, who has mechanic experience, looked over the truck to make sure the services we did pay for were done. Come to find out, NO ONE had touched the truck the entire time it was there for over 24 hours. After conversations between my husband and the Service Manager, Rick, I took my truck back in Monday morning for them to actually perform the services I paid over $400 for. Apparently, the technician documented the hours for the service, marked my truck as complete, but nothing was actually done on my truck. No attempt to remedy their mistake, just a simple “our bad”. Service Manager will not return our phone calls now. Had I not had someone who knew what to look for after a service like that, I would have continued to drive my truck for who knows how many more miles, with the assumption that my front and rear differential fluids and my transfer case fluid was recently replaced until something serious happened. How much damage would that have eventually caused? Whose responsibility is it at this dealership to ensure that that the services we go in for are actually performed? Writing this review in hopes it helps others to make sure you always check to verify you get what you paid for, especially if you are leaving this dealership. I will never return to this dealership to give them the chance “to earn my business back”, from the redundant responses to numerous similar reviews from this location. Nothing was solved to my satisfaction. And yes, Freedom Chevrolet, this should be used as a learning opportunity so you can fix this issue in the future. More

Although at first Justin Vanderpot was helpful, I ended having to call my warranty company myself and gather all the paperwork for my repair approval. Even after all of that, and getting the approval for my vehicle’s repair, and being notified by the warranty company that the repair has been approved, my car is still waiting to be serviced. I have not gotten updates nor was I given an update when I called. Instead I was brushed off by the young woman who took my call, telling me that, “she was unable to see any details only that my car was ‘being repaired’”. This is incorrect as I discovered later that my car is not being repaired, nor are parts being ordered (which is what I was told by Vanderpot), but instead my car is sitting in their holding lot. I took my car to this dealership hoping for better service than at the last Chevy dealership, Northside Chevrolet, and Freedom was was doing well until this situation. I caution anyone seeking service for their electric or hybrid electric vehicle against using this dealership for their Chevy. I purchased a Volt with the understanding that GM was on the forefront of new and efficient technology for vehicles. I trusted that their dealerships would know how to handle this new technology and the service/repairs that are required. That has proved to be an incorrect assumption and I am disappointed and seriously inconvenienced, and I will take both my business and my vehicle ownership elsewhere in the future. More
The service department is outstanding. And the prices are low and up front. I would never service my Silverado anywhere else. And the prices are low and up front. I would never service my Silverado anywhere else. More

The engine and transmission have already been replaced by Freedom, which we were partially responsible for. There is about another $3000 in repairs that need to be done and they once again claim that it is our responsibility, though we now have warranties for all of the parts AROUND those parts because we already had those replaced. In the last 9 months it has been at Fernandez Honda or Freedom Chevrolet for OVER 5 MONTHS TOTAL, who is also responsible for many of the half assed repairs done on the vehicle. We returned the vehicle for repairs WITHIN 48 HOURS OF PURCHASE because it broke down on I-35. We have continued to have it break down and run through this xxxxxxxx between the two dealerships. My children ride in this vehicle and we’ve broken down a total of 6 times. We’ve paid for repairs, towing, and an insane amount of money on rentals because it was quote “not their responsibility”. Long story short, we will be suing both dealerships for a multitude of things including fraud and child endangerment. ** UPDATE** After taking the vehicle to an independent shop we found numerous other things wrong with the vehicle, one of which prevents the truck from running altogether. The LKQ motor replacement was done 3 months ago and has driven less than 1000 miles. They still refuse to honor the 6 month/6000 mile warranty provided by LKQ. We have escalated things to Chevrolet corporate in hopes of a resolution More
A disappointing experience when a service technician/advisor/dealership attempts to overcharge a customer. Service for a check engine light reveals a faulty exhaust solenoid valve for a 2018 technician/advisor/dealership attempts to overcharge a customer. Service for a check engine light reveals a faulty exhaust solenoid valve for a 2018 Colorado. The result $400 plus and a four hour job to replace. A simple Google search shows the part is $42.95 original Delco part. A quick Google search shows the procedure to completely replace the valve with a new one in a three and a half minute video. No edits to shorten the sequence. It's that simple. Yet, it's a $400 job? When confronted with the obvious, we worked out a lower cost. Granted, a company has to make a profit to stay in business however, there is nothing that grants it the right to gouge a customer. Always double check - all those glowing reviews to the right probably never knew what hit them. They just paid up blindly without checking. Done with this place and will use social contacts to ensure everyone knows what they do here. More
