Finance Dept Not To Be Trusted My experience with the salesman (Brandon I think was his name) was ok. My problem with this dealership started with the person in the finance dept. My experience with the salesman (Brandon I think was his name) was ok. My problem with this dealership started with the person in the finance dept. ( forget his name, all I remember is his sissy elbow patches ) Right out of the gate he started pushing me to buy one of the extended warranties. I explained that I never buy them and he became downright argumentative. My wife was obviously getting uncomfortably with his behavior so in an attempt to calm things down I agreed to his less costly option at $400 or so dollars that included window etching which is reimbursed through my auto insurance. Still , none the less , I feel I was pressured into buying something I normally would not purchase. Well that was 11 months ago and it was just today that I decided to plug that little thing they give you into my computer. ( I guess gone are the days that you are given paper copies of the contract ) Anyway while going through the pages of my contract I discovered that instead of paying for the $400 or so option that I reluctantly agreed to It was in fact switched for the $2200 platinum warranty. Unfortunately for me this was 11 months ago and it got past me at the time I signed the contract. It's a shame that dealers have to resort to this kind of deceptive behavior and cannot act with a basic level of integrity. Thinking back to when I was sitting down with the salesperson discussing my monthly payment it's obvious to me now that the $2200 was already backed into the deal, they were just hoping that I would not notice their deceptive act. Don't let them steal from you... Read your contract carefully they cannot be trusted to do the right thing. More
