This is the second vehicle we bought from Franklin Ford. This experience was better than the first. We had bought a Mustang convertible 2 years ago from Rob Brown.Unfortunately due to my wifes health we needed to trade this vehicle in for something that she would feel comfortable getting in and out of. We showed up with out an appointment and Rob greeted us by name and sat and talked to us for a bit about what we were trying to do. My wife was not feeling well so we had to get home. Rob called us and said he would bring down a few cars for us to look at and drive right at our house. What service!!!! He was down 10 minutes later with a beautiful 2010 Mercury Milan will all the options available and very clean with low miles. He called his manager(Bill Macri) over the phone and described our Mustang to him. He was able to come up with a figure very quickly and worked out a deal that was more than fair. We were able to keep our payments the same without any money out of our pockets. They did most of this at our house and over the phone, the only thing we needed to do was come down to sign a few papers with a nice man in the business office and we had our new car which has exceeded our expectations of what we could afford. I have and will tell all my friends and family to go down to Franklin Ford if they are looking for a vehicle. This was by far the best dealership experience I've had yet. I bought new cars before but never has the process been as easy, transparent and friendly! Bruce Fuery was handling the deal in a very friendly and down to earth manner. He was very easy to talk to and always went extra 3 miles to accommodate my requests, provide information or resolve confusion about anything whatsoever. I have been offered an extended warranty but never pressured to buy it, like so many dealerships do. Any questions I had were always answered in full and they always gave me plenty of time to read every single word of the contract. I was double checking everything being paranoid about getting scammed - bad reputation that auto dealerships don't seem to be able to shake off - but it was needless. All the numbers were correct and matched what I figured with my own calculations (last time I bought a car at another dealership they tried to sneak in $500 into the contract!). We didn't have to wait at all - they took us right in. Their documentation fees are the lowest I've been quoted, there are no "extra" fees that some dealers use to make profit and they do provide a full tank of gas for free. After the deal Bruce spend almost 20 min explaining all the features of the car (Fiesta) to us and showing how every single bell and whistle works. One can only wish this was the direction auto dealership business was moving in - transparency and honesty all the way through the process. In short they made me feel like they are on my side and even though I kept my guard up all the way through the process, I do believe that in this case it was needless. More
I recently went to Franklin Ford after visiting about 5 local dealerships in hopes on buying a new car for my daughter. I worked with Rob Brown who was very helpful and knowledgeable. I experienced very little to no pressure "unlike the numerous other dealerships I visited" I ended up buying the car at a very low price and got everything that I was promised. I was very happy with the time and patience that the sales staff spent with me on finding a safe and reliable car for my daughter! I have already sent my parent's and sister "who also bought new car's" to Rob at Franklin Ford. More

Franklin Ford is truly a class organization from top to bottom. My wife and I were in the 'just looking' stage of the purchase of a new truck for myself and started our search at Franklin Ford. In our initial visit to Franklin Ford, we were met by the Owner, Barry Madden, who took a substantial amount of time making us feel comfortable before introducing us to the Sales Manager Chris Gendreau. Chris added his welcoming wishes as well and then turned us over to Salesman Rob Brown. Rob listened to our concerns and then asked us if we would like to take a ride in one of their Ranger XLT's that he felt after talking with the two of us might be the truck that would fit our family's needs and still be fiscally prudent for us. I loved the way the Ranger handled and on the ride Rob and I talked talked about everything else, but price. He then told my wife and I to take the Ranger out on the highway, look it over and test it out. Now the one thing I hate more than anything else is the posturing and back and forth negotiating that occurs at most dealerships. It never happened in my dealing with Franklin Ford. After I returned to the dealership, I explained to Rob what I could afford and that if Franklin Ford could meet my price then they have themselves a deal. Franklin Ford not only met my price, but came in under - that right I said under! We agreed to the purchase of the Ranger right then and there. Rob said that he would have the vehicle ready for us in two days and it was. We drove away that evening very happy and satisfied customers. We have had occasion to visit Franklin Ford's Service Department twice to date and have been equally impressed. I know it sounds too good to be true, but the experience I had at Franklin Ford was above board from start to finish. My three daughters all drive as well and I promise you that after my experience at Franklin Ford, my family and I will never buy a vehicle anywhere else. Thank you Barry and staff! I couldn't agree more with the other consumer review of Franklin Ford. After being in the market for a Chevy Avalanche I saw one posted on CARS.COM from Franklin Ford for what seemed like a very reasonable Franklin Ford. After being in the market for a Chevy Avalanche I saw one posted on CARS.COM from Franklin Ford for what seemed like a very reasonable price given the relatively high miles (75K+). Well after wasting time driving the 1 1/2 hours down there I was informed the price posted online was the price AFTER $3500 cash or trade. This is a VERY DECEPTIVE practice and is illegal and fraudulent advertising in many states. This is exactly the type of scummy sales tactic that requires a site like Dealer Rater. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy a vehicle from them. Disgrace. More

I went there recently to purchase a vehicle, and I felt forced and pressured through the entire transaction. My experience was so unpleasant I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Their prices online are about $3500 less than their prices at the dealership. I would never do business with Franklin ford again. More
