After a recall repair car motor is junk. I took my 2014 Ford Escape in for a recall on the coolant sensor. Ran fine fo a while then check coolant light came on had it checked at my local gas I took my 2014 Ford Escape in for a recall on the coolant sensor. Ran fine fo a while then check coolant light came on had it checked at my local gas station. Warning went off . Weeks later I had another warning. Took it back to Franklin Ford to be looked at ,they replaced a plug ,had them check on fluid light .they said it was fine the next day it came back on went back to them and they said leave it . After a few days they told me the motor was gone , the next day said it was fine they were going to drive it after getting a bubble out of the line. These morons now say the motor is junk again. They don’t know what they are doing they did not bleed the line long enough when they did the initial repair. After2 weeks of being without a car, no loaners are ever available, I have no car and no acknowledgement of wrong doing from Ford. More
Horrific experience!!!! Brand new F-150 broke down and towed to the nearest dealer (Franklin Ford). They were NOT helpful, then claimed it wasn't under warranty. Had to have it towed to another Ford Dealer to get it fixed. They were so mean my wife was in tears when we left. NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED!!!!!!!!! NEVER EVER GOING BACK!! More
Like New Explorer Happened to be looking at the website for a new work truck and browsed the SUV inventory as I needed one. Bob called right back with a "like new" 2011 Explorer. At first I was apprehensive but one look and I was sold. Brought the car to my mechanic and he could not believe how nice the car was. Low mileage, new tires, well kept and a FULL tank of gas. The original owners were meticulous with this car. I lucked out and got a great car for a great price. More

Lack of Communication They had my work van since January 17th. I got a rental for work through my company's fleet services. I just picked up my work van today (2/25) And it They had my work van since January 17th. I got a rental for work through my company's fleet services. I just picked up my work van today (2/25) And it has not been repaired. I repeat, it has NOT been repaired. They have had it all these weeks and still didn't fix it. I told the mechanic when I dropped it off, that I was having to get a jump-start every Monday because the radio would turn itself on and drain the battery over the weekend. Do you THINK that they looked at the radio first? NO. They ran diagnostic tests. And then did nothing further because, "the technician was sick" or "the technician was on vacation" for weeks. Only just last week- during one of MY calls TO them- they told me that they found the problem! They found that the radio had a short in it!!! Wow! Imagine if they'd only listened to me back in January? They had to order a new radio. It's on backorder. OF COURSE IT IS. He wanted to keep my work van for at least another week. Are you kidding me? I don't want to get in trouble with my employer for having had that rental SUV for 6 weeks as it is!! I just took the xxxx work van back with no radio because they pulled the fuse out. Also, they would never, ever return my calls. I would leave a message with the service department only to have to call them again a couple days later and leave another one. Once in a while, I WOULD get to talk to a service person. I am done with them. More

Poor Customer service on Recall Notice I called the service Department to ask about getting my 2016 Ford F150 fixed for a door latch recall. The women in the service department was very rud I called the service Department to ask about getting my 2016 Ford F150 fixed for a door latch recall. The women in the service department was very rude, She told me to go back and read the recall notice. She said they are not responsible until Ford has enough parts. She offer nothing in terms of information on when this would happen. I told her the my doors will not close and have opened while driving. She said again read the recall notice. Well the Recall notice says "If your vehicle exhibits symptoms of a door will not open, a door will not close, or a door opens while driving, immediately contact your dealer and request a service appointment for a recall relating to Safety recall 17S33" I told the service department that my truck was exhibiting these symptoms. She would not help, she was rude, and said to read the recall notice. I now have a truck I can not use, I do not feel safe driving with my kids in the vehicle. I do not recommend the dealership. Buyi9ng a truck is one thing, if they can not provide the service or follow the recall notice themselves what is the point of doing business with them. I do not recommend this dealer. More

The service department has always done right by me - taking good care of my car and treating me well. Everyone is friendly and helpful whether I have a scheduled appointment or something came up suddenly (like the nail in my tire last week). They took great care of me, fixed my car quickly and I think their prices are very fair. I am a single mom on a tight budget - so my used Ford Focus (which I bought at Franklin Ford) has been great. I will buy another Ford and I will remain a customer of Franklin Ford. More
