Under the circumstances you would think they would have some compassion but money is more important. She drove the car home and I drove it back less that 100 miles. They said we can't give the sales tax back (you do when you return purchases anywhere else) I'm sure they fudge the numbers and pocket the difference. The undercoating they wouldn't refund me, but when you scam people out of $5000 you will add the undercoating to the price when you resell the car and get paid twice for it. Fox is all about lining their own pockets and don't care about the customer. I dealt with the GM Matt I would never trust him or the dealership again. More
We’ve worked with the Fox dealership before when we leased a Subaru Outback. The Toyota dealership was excellent. The salesperson, Joel was very helpful. The financial manager was also efficient and he leased a Subaru Outback. The Toyota dealership was excellent. The salesperson, Joel was very helpful. The financial manager was also efficient and helpful during our purchase of this Rav 4. More
Initially we had a great experience in September 2023 when looking to buy a Highlander. We worked with James Hartman and Jamie Parker. After finding the car that we liked and making a decision everything when looking to buy a Highlander. We worked with James Hartman and Jamie Parker. After finding the car that we liked and making a decision everything changed and the experience was terrible. They lost paperwork and called the morning we were supposed to pick it up saying the title wasn’t yet in (never mentioned this previously) and we had to wait days before hearing from someone and picking it up. We were directed to talk with multiple people who didn’t have any idea about our purchase and always had to wait for call backs. We finally went up to sign paperwork and pick the vehicle up. The staff were nice (not those we had worked with the night of picking out the vehicle) and after we signed all the paperwork we walked out and were handed a key. I asked for the second set and the gentleman said he didn’t think there was one (never mentioned this when signing paperwork) and I asked for a second set to be made. He said the previous owner may have the set and he would reach out to him and then went inside to see if a second set could be made if the owner didn’t have the other key. He walked back out and said “yes we can do that for you” and would send it to our local Toyota dealership to pick up because we were so far away. Fast forward to multiple phone calls to the sales department from September with no one calling me back or following up with me about this second set. We talked with Jim today and he was extremely rude on the phone. He told us that even though he was the sales associate he wasn’t around and they “don’t just give out second keys”. He said that the person we worked with had been fired and there was no way to contact him and because we have no documentation that they would not be covering a second key. I asked to speak with a manager and he said he would give me a call back and talk with a manager. He talked with a manager named Clint and when Jim got back on the phone with me he said statements such as “we have nothing to do with this and you have no documentation”. I asked to speak with the manager and he would not transfer me and said that someone could give me a call back. After asking multiple times to talk with the manager because no one ever calls back (since September!) he stated “no one probably calls you back because no one wants to deal with it”. He encouraged me to call back tomorrow to speak to a different manager and when I asked again to speak with someone today he said “he cannot do anything for you and will not speak with you” and proceeded to hang up the phone. So here we are months later with no call backs and clearly not one person from Fox Toyota is taking responsibility for this issue. I will continue to reach out to talk with a manager or higher supervisor to have this resolved but wanted to warn others of Jim’s unprofessionalism, rudeness, and overall lack of caring. More

Essentially what happens is when you buy a preowned vehicle they make sure to sell it to so that it barely meets the trademarked Subaru certified preowned vehicle requirements that exist for your car. Then after they stick you with the car you will see from the immediate service you have to give to your vehicle after just purchasing it that you are essentially the one getting it up to the standards that exist within the certified preowned program. They will allow you to get up to about $10,000 in repairs through your warranty contract before they simply pull the plug on your warranty contract. Now being that fox Toyota Subaru sells warranty contracts, there is an affiliated company that exists for the pure reason of taking the heat if say legality were to enter the equation. DEALERSHIP OWNED WARRANTY COMPANY (DOWC) AKA “fox Toyota Subarus fall guys or front company” I like to call them. after all is said and done you will be left with no car, you will still be paying it off and you will not be able to go after fox legally even though they are the ones that sold you a xxxx vehicle in the first place. They really got scamming figured out. Fox Toyota Subaru exists to sell brand new cars to which they make no money on and literally ANYBODY can do, and for scamming people with their certified preowned vehicle; essentially their real and ONLY money maker. Andy Miller and Matthew Boicourt are the ones responsible for EVERYTHING I have just said. And I cannot WAIT to see them both go down to the 9th circle of xxxx. More
