Used 2009 Subaru I purchased a Subaru Forrester from you a couple of weeks ago, and firstly wanted to thank you for selling me a used vehicle in such bad condition. 2 I purchased a Subaru Forrester from you a couple of weeks ago, and firstly wanted to thank you for selling me a used vehicle in such bad condition. 20 minutes after I left the TPMS system malfunctioned which the Subaru dealership has yet to be able to fix, so you guys had to have just reset it before delivery. Way worse than that about 5 miles from home it started misfiring so bad I barely made it home. I had to replace plugs, plug wires and the ignition coil. The plugs were of no doubt original as they were worn down to nubs leaving a gap 3 times what should be so your 120 or whatever point inspection process is crap. Barring all that you as well as the finance guy told me you would attempt to contact previous owner to inquire about the timing belt maintenance. At the very least I would have expected an email or call saying you couldn't gets hold of them even if it was a lie, instead I have heard nothing. I understand the vehicle had been marked down as well as I got some extra taken off as it could not be determined about the status if the timing belt. The issue is this vehicle was supposedly "inspected" and if the spark plugs were not even checked then I highly doubt anything else was. Again thank you for selling me a such a piece of junk. -John Allen More
"BUYERS BEWARE" On October 24, 2015 we purchased a 2012 Ford F350 Dually with 96,230 miles. It was approximately 7:30 or 8:00 pm when we finally drove off the lot. On October 24, 2015 we purchased a 2012 Ford F350 Dually with 96,230 miles. It was approximately 7:30 or 8:00 pm when we finally drove off the lot. The dealership had agreed to fix the cracked windshield for us which took approximately 1 1/2 weeks to install. We purchased the Perma Plate coating ($ 700.00); First Mile Maintenance Plan Plus ($ 1,700.00); BaseCARE Extended Warranty ($ 2,800.00) to ensure that we would covered if anything were to happen to the truck. We were told that the truck had been through your service department (new oil, new oil filter and that everything was working properly and "good to go"). We drove off the lot at night and about eight of the running lights on the truck were not working. We called our salesman, Anthony Morgan and he asked the Used Car Manager if he would replace them and we were told "NO". After about a week and a half we were called to come down and replace the windshield. At that time we showed Anthony Morgan that the interior of the vehicle had about an inch of dust of the dashboard this meaning there was no way that the service department had Perma Plate the vehicle. Anthony Morgan personally took to the truck to service and had them redo the truck. In which we were thankful. When we picked the truck up the next day, the check engine light was on. Brad in service came out and had a Ford mechanic bring his tester, "something with the air flow", Brad replaced the air filter for us that was extremely dirty. At that time he mentioned did we know anything about the newer diesels exhaust system, we stated "NO". He explained that if the "cleaning exhaust service light comes on that we had to keep driving the truck until the cleaning process is finished. He stated that it would last approximately 20 to 30 minutes. We said "Thank you and that we would make sure and do that". The check engine went off. Within two days, the check engine light was on again. My wife brought the truck in on Tuesday, November 18th to get an oil change and to check to see what the check engine light was on for again. We also requested a check the back passenger two tires because their was a bouncing action. Eric called at 11:30 and said that the bouncing of the tires was probably due to the six new Firestone tires we had purchased in Clark Range, TN. We stated that we would go back to Kent's Tire Company and deal with that situation. Eric then informed my wife that the EGR value on the exhaust cleaning system was clogged and the entire cleaning system needed to be cleaned. This was going to cost $ 1,400.00. My wife stated that we had purchased the extended warranty and maintenance warranty that it should be covered. Eric informed her that it was not going to be covered. We went back to the dealership and talked to Layne in Finance and Ryan in service and asked if there was anyway the dealership could take care of this due to the fact that we had been told everything was fine. Layne and Ryan both requested that we not trade it at Cookeville Honda until they we were able to talk to Lewis the next day. We agreed. Eric called my wife and left a message on the 18th, I called Eric back and he informed me that this repair was not covering to be covered by the warranties or the dealership. It saddened me that this is how they chose to deal with this situation. Like my wife told Bud, "if the check engine light had been on, your dealership would have fixed the problem or we would not have purchased this truck". My wife has emailed Mike Petrello, General Manager of Cookeville Ford Lincoln on the November 18 explaining the situation and requesting if any assistance could be provided. We have purchased three vehicles in the past year, (2015 Ford Escape; 2015 Ford Mustang; and 2012 Ford F350). I would hope that your dealership would want to save this relationship. More
Problems with the vehicle after a few months I bought a vehicle a few months ago and it all started with the salesman. They played the game of going back and fourth and finally told me they would I bought a vehicle a few months ago and it all started with the salesman. They played the game of going back and fourth and finally told me they would meet my terms. When I went to sign the paperwork, I looked at the purchase amount and they had not met my terms. They tried to slide it by me. I purchased the vehicle after having to haggle more. I purchased the extended warranty. When I went to leave the vehicle was on empty and I was told they don't fill up used vehicles. A month later the seat controller fell off and what a supreme it was not covered. I now am having engine problems and it will probably not be covered. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again More
In the beginning of this adventure I had been consulting with a man named Ray Moyer on the phone. I told him the day before I came in that I would be coming in after work after I ran a few errands. He said with a man named Ray Moyer on the phone. I told him the day before I came in that I would be coming in after work after I ran a few errands. He said this was fine and to meet him after 5:30. My wife also received a call the day we were expected to come in as to confirm the 5:30 time. When I got there Ray wasn't there but, fortunately, another sales associate decided to help me. I told the new associate about the car I had seen on Auto Trader and asked if I could test drive. The Auto Trader car was a 1.5L eco boost and was wondering if the 1.5L eco was as great as Ford was hyping it up to be. Even if the 1.5L wasn't as great I was still greatly considering getting the 2.5L instead. Although I wanted to test drive the car I found on Auto Trader, which was as listed as being on the lot, I could not because the associates could not LOCATE the vehicle. While I did test drive a 1.5L the test drive could have gone better if the car did not smell like it was on fire. (Yes the car was new but had been driven previously.) Because of the drive, I started to show apprehension towards the 1.5L and thought a 2.5L would be better but my saying so fell on deaf ears and did not get to try the 2.5L. After the 1.5L drive we discussed the price; the associates said the price on Auto Trader was already after rebates and a discount. The odd thing was that it never said on Auto Trader that the price was after rebates or discounts like other non Ford vehicle listings. Then I was informed that I couldn't get all the discounts so the price was higher than what I had seen on line by $500+. To add insult to injury because I was not interested in the new price the sales associate had the finance manager come out and ask me what it would take to get me to buy the car TONIGHT. In the end I had such a bad experience with them that I went elsewhere and bought a different non Ford vehicle. More

Great selection of veh Cookeville went above and beyond our expectations in finding us a similar truck in our price range with the options we needed. Great selection of vehicles right on the lot. Mr. Roche was very pleasant and helpful and not pushy. Ford, Lincoln of Cookeville had the best price on my vehicle comparied to 2 others dealers. Overall this has been the most pleasant new car purchase I have experienced. This was my first new Ford purchase. I am very pleased with the Ford / Lincoln of Cookeville dealership, the salesman, my price, and my car so far. Since this is my first Ford, If it proves out in the long run to be a good car, I will again visit Ford / Lincoln of Cookeville for my next new car purchase.
