As a prelude to what I am about to write, I take great care of my car, know my car inside and out, and when possible park it in the far end of the parking lot to avoid door dings. My gripe this time around isn't with the service provided (although after changing the oil they didn't even reset the oil life indicator), it's the fact that my car was chipped in 5-6 different places when it was returned to me after the service was completed (I only pointed out three of them while there, as those chips were more obvious, and I noticed the other chips when I got home). When I brought the chips to their attention, they initially claimed they were there when I brought my car in, which they weren't, as I did the walk around with the service technician, and know for a fact they weren't there. Additionally, in the paperwork they gave me, on the top right corner of page four, where it shows the diagram of the exterior body, and then states "Note any existing exterior body damage or defects on diagram" there was nothing marked at all. Yet after I complained about the chips, the technician went back into the service department and returned with a different paper showing a exterior body diagram, and now the place on the side of the car where the paint was chipped (by Ford) was suddenly marked on the diagram (why was this different from my copy?). I again affirmed the chips were not there when I brought the car in, and said I wanted to speak with the manager. The manager came out and to his credit said they would repaint the affected area and was very accommodating, even offering to provide a rental car. I initially agreed to this fix, and I do appreciate their offer to make it better, but after further thought I've decided I'm not bringing it back to this dealership, as I don't believe I can now trust them to do it right, knowing how difficult paint matching is to do. I would rather have an independent detailer fix the chips, but I can't afford that and suspect that Folsom Lake Ford would not reimburse me for it. For someone who takes pride in their car's appearance, it's extremely frustrating that this even happened in the first place - and that's my whole point. When I bring my other car in for service at the Honda dealership service department down the street, it's a much less stressful experience, and comes back washed and looking better than when I brought it in, without any new blemishes. It's too bad that wasn't the case with Folsom Lake Ford. More

Worst Experience Purchasing a 2016 Ford F-250 Platinum TOOK DELIVERY OF A BRAND NEW 2016 FORD F-250 Platinum $68,000.00 TRUCK. TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT DELIVERY. SALESMAN STA TOOK DELIVERY OF A BRAND NEW 2016 FORD F-250 Platinum $68,000.00 TRUCK. TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT DELIVERY. SALESMAN STATED, "I JUST AIRED UP THE TIRES, LIGHT WILL GO OFF SHORTLY". LIGHT NEVER WENT OFF, ALL FOUR TIRES WERE THIRTY PERCENT BELOW MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS" WE FOUND THIS OUT AFTER DRIVING HALFWAY ACROSS COUNTRY PULLING A HORSE TRAILER WITH HORSES IN IT. VERY LUCKY WE DDIDNT HAVE A BLOWOUT AND THAT NO ONE WAS HURT. LONG STORY SHORT, THE SALESMAN BLATANTLY LIED ABOUT THE TIRES AND PUT US AND THE HORSES AT TREMENDOUS RISK. THIS WAS EXTREMELY CARLESS AND NEGLIGENT. GAVE DRALER BAD FEEDBACK IN FORD MOTOR COMPANY POST SALE SURVEY. WAS HOUNDED BY DEALERSHIP MANAGER REPEATEDLY AND BEGGED TO CHANGE SURVEY WITH NO APOLOGY FOR HIS SALESMAN BLATANTLY LYING TO US. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DEADLY, SOMEONE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. BROUGHT TRUCK IN YESTERDAY FOR SERVICE, TRANSMISSION SLIPPING, TRUCK HAS LESS THAN TEN THOUSAND MILES. TRUCK SAT IN DEALERSHIP FOR A DAY AND HALF AND. OTHING HAS BEEN DONE BECAUSE THERE "TRANSMISSION TECHNICIAN IS NOT IN" PER THE SERVICE MANAGER. MADE THE APPOINTMENT LONG IN ADVANCE AND DESCRIBED THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM IN DETAIL YET THEY HAVE US BRING IT IN WHEN THE TRANSMISSION TECHNICIAN IS ON VACATION. THIS ENTIRE EXPERIENCE OF BUYING THE TRUCK AND GETTING SERVICE FROM FOLSOM LAKE FORD HAS BEEN BOMBASTIC. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE!!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LYING SALESMAN IT DOESN'T GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS FOLKS!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!! More

Good service, but no tricking co-signers anymore had a nice review typed up and google messed up and deleted it. Going to shorten it. Gary from sales did a good job. Took me for a test drive and had a nice review typed up and google messed up and deleted it. Going to shorten it. Gary from sales did a good job. Took me for a test drive and didn't give off that fake persona vibe most salesmen do. Good guy. Tim Voskull from Internet Sales was amazing. He would always let you know what he's doing for you, would be honest with you, and was overall very helpful. He showed me how to drive my new stick shift car. This is the ideal salesman; not clingy, but nice, informative, helpful, and relaxed. This guy needs some recognition because he's great. Mike, the one who handled my financing, was alright. He and Gary tried to trick me into signing as a co-signer, which I don't appreciate, and I had to get stern to let them put me on line 1, but they did it. He manually called the banks and got me the same rate my co-signer would have gotten if they were on line 1. So for people in California who don't know, the main signer (line 1) and co-signer (line 2) have the same responsibility when it comes to the loan. What dealers will do is say it doesn't matter where you sign. They will have the co-signer, who has the better credit, sign on line 1 so they easily get a low rate, and have the actual person buying the car sign on the co-signer line, or line 2. In the end, the person who was going to co-sign, but got tricked into signing on line 1 owns the car. DMV registration will say that. It will be THEIR loan, not the person who actually wants the car. DO NOT LET THEM TRICK YOU INTO THIS. They just want to get a good rate easily. Still far better than Future Ford of Roseville, where I got called a dick by an employee. More
