You should have a concierge type person(s) available to go through feature /benefits post the delivery and post possession of the vehicle to handle consumers issues, reteach and or explain items the buyer might have questions about. Having your best sales people doing such work is counter intuitive to making more sales and in many instances buyers are waiting while the best people to close the next deal are helping some one like me who had a few minor items I needed to resolve. Knowing I am taking away your best talent to do this is not good. When I ran retail sales teams we always had someone who everyone loved to talk to because they had the time to spend with them solving those little issues and did the follow-up to the client and the sales person. And I know from empirical data that by freeing up my sales team to pursue new clients was a great way to increase sales and reduce my acquisition costs before and after the sale. Food for thought. More
