Cant say for the sales department. But the service department is straight up trash. A simple diagnosis turned into 2 trips to this location in a month and half time period. My brand new car broke down in another state. It's been fixed and ready to go in California. The Service Manager Mike, who has never spoken to me about this or tried to help at all just called to YELL at me and tell me what happens to these cars after they make their money is none of their business and they have no obligation to lift any fingers about anything that goes wrong after you buy a car from them. So that's nice. The one call I got was him yelling at me and inturupting me. No apology, just him being mad I left a 1 star review I took my $52,000 new car car on a 4 hour trip to California. On the highway it went from 80-40 mph, then broke down on the way to the shoulder. 1) Kia roadside assistance never came to tow my car. They kept telling me they would but ultimately left me stranded for over 3 hours on the highway in a state I didn't live in. I had to get a friends AAA to tow me. Still haven't received an apology. 2) my invertor had a tiny hole in it from a rock that I was told I hit while driving and it leaked all the liquid and they needed to replace it. I was told it would be fixed that following Monday. I asked several times for a breakdown of what I would be reimbursed for, and for a rental and I was denied. But was told if I bought a ticket home I would be reimbursed and they would ship me my car. 3) I spent all last week trying to get reimbursement, a rental, and my car back. I was told over and over is was escalated to a supervisor who would be calling me, but two weeks later I have not gotten a call. 4) I was told worst case scenario I will get a call Thursday to schedule my car to be returned two weeks after that. That's four weeks without my car, reimbursement, or a rental. 5) if I get a reimbursement it will be a max of $100 per day (max of 10 days) and I will get it in "15 weeks". My plane ticket alone was $400. My hotel for 4 last minute days were $250 each. On top of Ubers, meals, time off work, etc. 6) if I rent a car on my own they will only reimburse me $35 per day for ten days. You can not rent a car for that much in 2023. And it's already been more than 10 days. And I'd have to wait over 3 months for the reimbursement. Get AAA and don't drive your car out of the state. And I'm never buying a Kia again in my life. If you came here because you are researching this brand DO NOT buy. This is not the behavior of a brand that believes in their products. I contacted Findlay Kia multiple times for help and they just referred me to the number that's not helping me. Neither dealership made one call on my behalf to try to help, nor loaned me a car. I will update if I ever get my car back. On a side note- I took the car I'm borrowing in for a car wash expecting to have to convince them to wash it because I paid for the car wash warranty (I had no choice) and I don't have my car. They washed it no questions asked, but it's the worst car wash I've ever seen in my life. So if you want a free, terrible car wash, this is the place! More
I went to test drive the 2023 telluride and it was amazing. So many features that are standard with the vehicle.
