I unsuccessfully visited 3 different dealerships in search of my new Mercedes until I had a pleasure to speak with Ron Bigler at Fields. Ron found me exactly what I was looking for in a record time at a better price than I could wish for. Not only he did that, he made me feel like family! This was the best car buying experience I have ever had! Ron's unbelievable attention to my needs undoubtfully earned Fields all my future business, despite the fact that this is the farthest Mercedes dealership from my house. Thanks Ron! More
After several weeks of considering a Make of vehicle to purchase, I decided on Mercedes. I then began to research dealerships within 100 miles of my home. I contacted several dealerships thru CarGurus.co purchase, I decided on Mercedes. I then began to research dealerships within 100 miles of my home. I contacted several dealerships thru CarGurus.com and AutoTrader.com looking for competitive pricing. I found a vehicle that I was very interested in and ended up speaking with John Nevills (manager) at Field Motor cars in Lakeland about a car on his lot. This was the afternoon of July 3rd and due to my work schedule and me living over 50 miles from the dealership, John offered to meet with me on the morning of July 4th - which is a Holiday. The dealership was closed, however, John was extremely accommodating to my schedule and had the vehicle ready for me to review and test drive when I arrived the next morning. That began the experience of Top Notch customer service at Fields Motorcars. Carl Lockhart was the sales adviser that John had come in (on a Holiday!) to assist me with questions and take a test drive. Carl had vast knowledge of the Mercedes Benz and was very kind, he not pushy at all. He really explained things to me and took the time to be sure I was comfortable before making a buying decision. I ended up putting a deposit down on a Certified Pre Owned 2010 E350 and arranged to come back the following day (when the dealership was open) to complete the paperwork. Gary Bressman in finance completed the sale; he was very kind and professional during the process. I did not feel pressured in the least bit at this dealership. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely kind and portrayed the best customer service I have ever experienced. I would say that level of customer service at this dealership is of Ritz Carlton quality. The other thing I'd like to mention is the QUALITY of the product at Fields Motorcars. Every car I looked at was in fantastic shape and very clean. The car I ended up buying is a 2010 and looks as though it has never been driven. I feel it is very important that they take pride in what they offer to customers. John also shared the history of each vehicle I was considering so that I knew exactly what I was buying. Overall, this was THE BEST experience I have ever had in buying a car. Even though I live over an hour from the dealership, I will gladly use them for service on my car and I will confidently refer them to others who are looking for a luxury car. Thank you again! This is the first time I have enjoyed talking to a car salesperson. Don was recommended by a friend who just purchased Mercedes from Fields, his recommendation was spot on. I purchased a Mercedes and was SO satisfied I bought my son his first car there also. Don and John(Fields Manager) went OUT of their way to do a few extra things on the car for me. My son loved it!! I have owned several Corvettes and Infiniti among other brands and they can't compare to my experience with Don Josey and John. I go weekly for a FREE car wash and enjoy talking with Don and John every time I go . They are truly the BEST even after you buy the car. Try to beat that, not possible. They are truly the best you will ever deal with!!!! More

Don & John were extremely helpful and knowledgable in assisting us with purchasing a secondary vehicle for our family. Once we had the car home, we had some steering/vibration issues and they went out of assisting us with purchasing a secondary vehicle for our family. Once we had the car home, we had some steering/vibration issues and they went out of their way to correct the issue. We were brought a car to use for the day while the issue was fixed. I would highly recommend this dealership and greatly appreciate the help and professionalism both Don and John gave us. More

I've purchased many vehicles over the years, but Fields Mercedes Benz, hands down, has been the best car shopping/buying experience I've ever had. During my past car shopping experiences (at other dealerships), I felt pressured while trying to decide on which car to buy and stressed out when leaving with my new vehicle. At Fields, as soon as entered your showroom, I was greeted by my sales person, Carl Lockhart, who immediately with a hand shake and a smile made me feel comfortable. I was given the freedom to look around without the high pressured sales tactics. He was always close by in case I had a questions. When I was ready to look at a specific car, he was very informative and also very patient, as I spent hours in your showroom trying to decide. Currently, I'm driving my second Mercedes purchased from Carl. He gets to know his customers, with follow up phone calls, as well as, greets you when you come in for car washes and service. It is truly a treat and a pleasure to come to your beautiful new showroom where all of your employees are friendly and courteous. I always receive first class service at Fields Mercedes Benz of Lakeland! More
I bought my first used Mercedes Benz from Fields Motorcars of Lakeland after a terrible experience from Mercedes Benz of Tampa, so when I decided on a new Benz I went back to my orginal salesperson Motorcars of Lakeland after a terrible experience from Mercedes Benz of Tampa, so when I decided on a new Benz I went back to my orginal salesperson Carl Lockhart, he really worked hard to get me what I wanted and a payment that was affordable to me. I would and have been recommending him and the dealership to anyone interested in a vehicle, you can't beat the sales team or the customer service provided by fields. Carl Lockhart has to be the best salesperson I've dealt with, such an asset to the dealership, keep up the good work. More
I was searching for a new car and I expanded the distance restriction to 50 miles. I am so glad I did. I received incredibly prompt email responses prior to my visit, and when I arrived- everything was what I would expect from a Luxury Brand dealership. The entire shopping/buying process was exceptional. Chris and the others I dealt with made the experience enjoyable and I never thought I would say that about buying a car. I received a great price on the car I purchased and would definitely return to this dealership in the future. I have been sharing my experience with everyone I know. More
I purchased a 2004 Mercedes Benz SLK32 with 19 thousand miles last week from Fields Mercedes. I had been looking for a low mile SLK32 and was hesitant to purchase the car since I'm in MA and the dealer is miles last week from Fields Mercedes. I found the car on Ebay represented as "BEAUTIFUL CONDITION IN AND OUT,1 OWNER,PRISTINE". The car buying experience started out great, Don our salesman appeared to be a genuine salesman, but the experience ended very poorly due to several reasons. Dishonest representation of the car by our salesman Don, I received the vehicle with the drivers side door panel hanging off, the interior console area including the glove box, drivers side door handle area were are all scratched up and the front bumper had curb damage. Lastly I received the car with 1 working key remote "I was told both were working". After contacting the used car manager "John Nevills" and sending him pictures of the damage, his response was "As for the key, I feel that is something that you will have to take care of. We did provide two keys and the vehicle is an 04. I feel we represented the vehicle as best we could. I am sorry for any inconvenience. I do appreciate your business.". No further phone call or correspondence was made by John to me after I sent a "disappointed" response back to him. My experience in buying a used Mercedes Benz at Fields was overall not a very good one. I received a very poor customer service experience and I was taken advantage of. At the end of the day, I'll deal with the issues on my own and enjoy the car this summer. I hope this feedback helps the next buyer of a "used" Mercedes. _______ Update: I received a follow up from Gary Gordon "General Manager", the key has been replaced and I've been compensated for my troubles making this once again a good experience.
