Pleasant Surprise!! We had been shopping all day and decided to give Fairway Ford a try before calling it a day. We always thought their commercials were a bit too corny We had been shopping all day and decided to give Fairway Ford a try before calling it a day. We always thought their commercials were a bit too corny but hey, a car is a car. We were tired, our 6 yr old daughter was bored, it was cold and misting rain. Dominique met us with a friendly smile and we explained what we were interested in. He immediately said ok, let me take that information and see what I can show you that will work in those parameters so we can speed this process up since you've been at it all day. From that point on he was so friendly and funny but determined not to take a minute longer than needed so we could close out our day. Even though the dealer ship is under construction and the "offices" were all close quarters, everyone was very friendly and outgoing not only to us but our daughter. My husband got a call into work but he needed to sign papers so they rushed through to get him done and drove him home to get his truck. When he wasn't done in time to come sign the financial papers, Dominique said no problem, I'll meet him later that night or first thing the next morning as the other catch was my husband was going out of town for work that next morning for a week. Dominique meet us at 8:30 Easter Sunday with that same friendly smile as the afternoon before to finalize everything. I mean wow...talk about going above and beyond!! We've purchased/had serviced vehicles at several other CSRA dealers and this by far was the best experience, if the service is this good after the sale, you have a customer for life!! WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM FAIRWAY FORD... TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life buying a vehicle. I went to purchase a vehicle before I left the lot I changed my mind becaus This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life buying a vehicle. I went to purchase a vehicle before I left the lot I changed my mind because of a financial phone call I received. I told the salesman that I could not afford the vehicle due to a personal financial matter that just came up. AGAIN I HAVE NOT LEFT THE PARKING LOT OF THE DEALERSHIP. I was told it was to late to reverse any of the paperwork for me to get my vehicle back that I traded in. I told him I was sorry that I was not expecting that matter to arise nor would anyone else but financially now I could not afford the newly purchased vehicle and I just wanted mine vehicle back. Again he told me there was nothing that could be done the papers were signed and I was STUCK that it was not his problem. I felt under DURESS that I had to leave in the newly purchased vehicle since THEY told me they could not help me out. After going home and sleeping on the entire situation at hand I returned to the dealership the following day to speak with the GENERAL MANAGER. When I showed up of course the GM was not there but his son was. I spoke with him about the entire situation again and asked for my vehicle back and he told me there again there was nothing they could do. I asked about trading the newly purchased vehicle back in for my old vehcile and he told me YES you can do that but it will cost you twice as much as what you traded it for. HOW CAN YOU CHARGE SOMEONE TWICE AS MUCH AS WHAT YOU TRADED IT IN FOR??? The customer service was terrible and how can you treat your customers this way. I could not help I had a financial issue arise BEFORE I left your lot in the newly purchased vehicle. SInce you told me you couldnt help me I felt under DURESS that i had no choice but to leave. This was a bunch of crap I did have a choice and i will explain. 1. Just because the papers were signed does not mean the vehicle is mine until I cross the curb in the parking lot and leave the lot. Which like i said i did bc i felt under DURESS that i had no other choice. 2. My vehicle that i traded in was still mine again because i had not left your lot but YOU (FAIRWAY FORD) told me that it wasnt because i signed papers. Which is a bunch of crap. I spoke with several other dealerships in the area and ALL the other dealerships would have gave me my vehicle back. I hope that corporation for FAIRWAY FORD reads this review so they can see how their employees are treating their customers by conning them into signing a paper and then telling them they are STUCK and their is not help for them that ITS NOT THERE PROBLEM anymore. Again I hope the corporation for FAIRWAY FORD IN EVANS GA will read this and if they would like to contact me please feel free to. I will give you everyones name that I contacted and dealt with at this dealership. I have left everyone know at the place of my employment that i work at not to purchase any vehicle from this dealership and I have also contacted all the local news stations about this incident. I have also contacted the local newpaper for this area and advised them of the same situation so they can place front page articles in the paper. I AGAIN WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM FAIRWAY FORD IN EVANS GA. All they care about is MONEY not CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can even tell you that one of the employers bragged about selling a $1500 vehicle for $8000 to an elderly gentleman. Thats a $6500 mark up and the reason for it per your employeer was because the guy did not realize what he sign and he also was supposibly STUCK and couldnt back out. WOW what kind of business are you running??? AGAIN IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE NAME OF ALL THE EMPLOYEES THAT WAS INVOLVED IN THIS YOU CAN CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL WITH A PHONE NUMBER AND I WILL BE GLADLY TO CALL YOU AND OR MEET WITH A CORPORATE EMPLOYEE ABOUT THIS MATTER!!!
