I walked in to Fairfield Subaru just to see if I could fit in a Crosstrek (I’m 6’5, and the answer is yes), and I walked out with a new set of keys. I know what most people would think, “you got worked”. But I am now the owner of a great car that I love, and I got it at a pre-determined price I had set for myself. Salesman Tony Richardson was immensely helpful and very low pressure. He took his time showing me several trim levels, and I had thought I was too tall for the car and was about to leave, when Tony recalled a Sport model he had on the lot that happened to lack a moon roof. No moon roof = extra 2” of head room and one happy tall man. Tony was excellent in the office as well, not using typical sales tactics like dancing around the sales price and only focusing on monthly payments, no four-square BS. He was clear in the offered term-lengths and APRs. He showed multiple down payment options and how they would reflect in my monthly payment. He was not pushy about add-ons, but merely wanted to explain their worth and let you decide what is right for you. All in all it was a fantastic and low-stress shopping experience. When I first got to the dealership, it was about 1 hour before closing time. Abdul helped my family look at the cars. We never considered Subaru before. Abdul showed us how Subaru is super highly rated, which was a plus in helping us decide to purchase the vehicle. We had to leave. Later on, we talked to Abdul on the phone about test driving it and how to pay. During the test drive, he described all the features. The test drive around the dealership was easy given that route was pretty empty. We tested the blind spot detector and the backup camera. In the end, we decided to purchase it at the dealership. He helped us out with the paperwork. He described the app that can be used to unlock the vehicle no matter how far away I was. The dealership had coffee and fruit while we waited. Restroom facilities were clean. I've had a great experience with working with Abdul at the Fairfield dealership. More
