Tony R was the salesman at Subaru that helped us trade in our toyota for a Honda Pilot in great condition. Brought in a 2014 Subaru for a 60K service. Was quote $1800 which seemed high but I agreed. Came to pick up the car and was told they had just detected the need for MORE work ($3.5K more). How could they not have seen this and alerted me sooner! I finally felt scammed as I should have at an earlier stage in the process. I declined the further work and took the car to another auto pro who confirmed that the car was fine without the additional work. Shockingly, I got an automated message from the service manager asking if I'd rate them a "10" (no way). I called back and let her know it was the worst service experience of my life. Couple of weeks have passed but no word from them. More
