Worst service department I ever experienced Had my 2018 2015hd serviced by their department for the first two services , 15,000 miles it is due for the 3rd service . Can't keep the truck in one Had my 2018 2015hd serviced by their department for the first two services , 15,000 miles it is due for the 3rd service . Can't keep the truck in one lane, check front end idler arm and pitman arm worn out from never being greased by the dealers service department. Make appointment for a recall, 3rd service and front end problem. After being told truck is finished, look at grease fittings on the upper ball joints, they were never greased. Had the service manager come out and look, you would think he would be concerned, being it was just in to replace parts hat weren't greased. He couldn't give a rats xxx. Must hope they make it out of warranty so you have to pay them to replace. More
Do NOT come to this dealership. You will regret it. Go anywhere else but here. These people suck. They are snakes. They have and will continue to lose business if management isn’t replaced. anywhere else but here. These people suck. They are snakes. Do not come here for maintenance Shortly after purchasing my used vehicle the transmission failed. It was no big deal since the vehicle was covered under warranty. To ensure the work Shortly after purchasing my used vehicle the transmission failed. It was no big deal since the vehicle was covered under warranty. To ensure the work was done correctly, I brought my chevy here to drop and fix the transmission. One month after the repair I took my car in for routine maintenance at my trusted local mechanic. He told me one part on my transmission was either overlooked or otherwise unrepaired because the newly rebuilt transmission was slowly leaking fluid. After about $300-$400 later my car was fixed by a mechanic that did not specialize in Chevy's. I went back to this dealership and told them the issue, and they gave me that money back as a credit to go towards future maintenance. While I'm upset that the shop skipped a step, I appreciate the service manager making this issue right. More

Clever but typical price tricks Unless you have a family member in the business, one needs to be very watchful for price irregularities. The price of our car jumped up over $800 whi Unless you have a family member in the business, one needs to be very watchful for price irregularities. The price of our car jumped up over $800 while we were there, and an even larger, unneeded GAP fee was added quietly to the price breakdown as well. The New Motor Vehicle Board was a good place to voice our concerns since the dealership stated that I must be confused. More
Worst Customer Service in Years! Worst customer service I've had in years!!! It's as if they could care less if you are a future return customer or not; preferably not, it seems. I Worst customer service I've had in years!!! It's as if they could care less if you are a future return customer or not; preferably not, it seems. I called for an appt to finally address the recalls (air bag, etc.) before the end of the year. Ray Ojeda, in the service dept said he couldn't book the appt unless all parts were in, he checked, said they were in and booked for the next week. We planned for me to leave it overnight to use the shuttle service next day. When I called the next day Ray said they haven't even started because all the parts weren't in. WTH?!? 2 days with nothing done and he "hopes parts are in by the end of the week, next week at the latest". I go ahead and my car as I do have a second vehicle, although it's a truck and I don't like to drive it everyday. I ask Ray if they can clean my car to ease the pain of this experience and he says "yeah, I'll have 'em clean it". The next week I pick it up. The exterior's been washed and a light vacuum but there are "scratches" on my brand new windshield (from taking the dash off). Thankfully they wiped off. Point is they weren't wiped off before returning the car to me cleaned. After driving my car for a day or so I noticed that my cruise control, which I use often and reflexively, was not where it normally is. Upon closer investigation I see that the steering wheel is off center about a quarter turn to the right. WTH? I call Ray to inform him of my discovery and he's doubtful that they had to remove the steering wheel but went to check. Yep, they did, let's make another appt; we did for the following week. I called on Thurs. before my Monday appt to confirm. Ray says, "I don't see an appt for you but just drop it off." By now I'm done w/Ray and Chevy Fairfield. But I need my steering wheel on straight. I ask for a complimentary detail of my car for this unpleasant experience. "Oh no...That's a $300 service!" I then do a search of reviews to find out that this is the norm for customer service there. I called a phone # which was left by a Chevy dealer customer service rep in response to several of the complaints on Yelp to voice my complaint. I spoke w Ilene at Subaru who said she would arrange a detail and wanted to make me a future customer. When I picked up my car, the steering wheel was on straight but I get a better car cleaning at 5 Star car wash. I followed up w/Ilene to inform her of the substandard "detail", sent her a video of the job but was directed to the new service manager at Chevy, Chris Hanson. He finally responded by email offering a detailing but would not take a phone call from me on 3 occasions. So much more to say but will end with: I've been drooling over the Equinox for years now. I paid cash for my '09 Pontiac Vibe, first new car and will be doing the same when I save for the Equinox or equivalent but NOT to Chevy Fairfield!!!! Shady business practices, lousy customer service and substandard work! More
Worst dealership experience ever. We had many struggles with the purchase of our new truck. There are definitely other Chevy dealers around use another one. The manufacturer states 1 1/2 hours to install. I watched a handful of YouTube videos and they all said it took 1 1/2 hours also. They had our truck for 2 days They said it took 8 hours and it’s still not installed correctly. The service department said it was the first install of this kind of cover. When I went back due to water being in the caddy tool box due to so much slack or play in the cover latches they said they would rather me go to a professional. So they sent me over to a friend of there’s at Seria Truck and Van in Cordelia. I went there and asked for Gary. An older guy behind the counter said he was Gary. I told him that Fairfield Chevy sent me there. Gary walked out and looked at the cover and opened and without looking at all fastening points and bolts he said it sure looks to be installed correctly. There is so much play in the top there’s no way that this top could be installed correctly. Seria Truck and Van does not even install the brand of cover I have because they said it was to difficult to install. Obviously Fairfield Chevy and Seria Truck and Van do not have qualified technicians to do the work of an easy no drill only clamp on truck lid. Stay away from Fairfield Chevy. Then when I called Fairfield Service Department back Ray put me on hold I hung up after 15 minutes. Stay away from this dealership. They spilled def fluid on several areas of our trucks engine and engine bay. After bringing it in 3 separate times and letting Ray and Rays boss know it’s still not cleaned off we will now find a new dealership. More
Stay away from Fairfield Chevrolet!! If you are desperate and actually buy a vehicle here, be warned! The "bumper to bumper" warranty doesn't mean diddly. Regardless of what you describe If you are desperate and actually buy a vehicle here, be warned! The "bumper to bumper" warranty doesn't mean diddly. Regardless of what you describe to the service department manager, no matter what your owner's manual says, if their little plug-in computer doesn't show an error code RIGHT THEN, the problem doesn't exist. Sorry! No warranty issue! Go ahead and buy a Chevy. I've driven them for decades. But this is my last one. And I will DEFINITELY not be taking my truck there for service. Ever. More
Horrible experience This review pertain to sales experience with Manager Armando Ramirez and Fairfield branch. We been Chevy customers for a while luv our chevys and Napa This review pertain to sales experience with Manager Armando Ramirez and Fairfield branch. We been Chevy customers for a while luv our chevys and Napa location. This was our 1st time going to Fairfield branch and was the worst experience business process/customer service we had. My son an active US Marine went to check for a Silverado truck and was looking to trade his 2013 Camaro. He applied on his own and with his dad as a co-signer. He was approved on the spot on his own for 34,585. Armando showed us he was and were looking to see how to negotiate 2000 off. During process my son was told his car was salvage (which was a huge lie) They were offering 5000 as trade in because of that but we let them know that we confirmed what we knew that title was clean. He was told by TEXT he was not approved and we did not understand why. His dad call to asked why and what happened because day after we were there he was approved for a 2018 Toyota (Napa dealer)and they paid 11,500 for the trade in so we had questions. Armando answered the phone and cursed at my husband for no reason after he asked for the GM store names Armando hung up the phone. We went to branch and talked to sales person Benny he confirmed all numbers and negotiations are done by Armando and that he does what he says. Benny was polite and kept his cool all times. He gave us GM name without hesitation. After long wait Armando spoke with us we just wanted to have our ? Answered we showed him the approval letter and insurance and car title info. He said that he did not sale the car to my son because it was actually TOO MUCH CAR for him. Disrespectful towards a US Marine? Really? Anyways not only he said that he started cursing again with me and my son there and he said just because we were there he did not "fix it in another way" he basically treat my husband. My husband asked why is he cursing if he is not and Armando said they all cursed at that dealer. We asked him for GM name and he disrespectfully said it was "Red" de "indian" sitting next to him which was a lie because Benny just told us before it was Mike. Please if you read this review advise not to purchase there not only because of this guy stereotype issues but racists towards others and his own kind. More
