This place is a joke, if you can don’t walk but run away from going here. We bought a used explorer 2018 and 3 months owning it the transmission went out, so they did a key buy back and gave us a 2021 explo from going here. But that’s not the only thing, their service department is a piece of crap. They kept the car for a week and were scratching their heads cause they didn’t know what was wrong with the car. Saying that they had emailed ford corporate to see what’s wrong with the car. So I called corporate myself and they asked me “why are they calling us? , we don’t work on cars here. What a joke ford is. Every one pointing fingers to anyone. Three weeks went by and we hear nothing from Elk Grove. So we took it to Stockton ford and within a week they say it’s the transmission, it needs a new one. Being at wits end we go back to Elk Grove ford and see what they can do. Hahahaha they want to put us in a 2020 ford with little warranty… NO THANK YOU!! If anything they should give us what we want after dealing with 2 cars that were crap!! Lemon law here we come! Don’t give your money to this place, if they treat their customers like this, then they don’t deserve xxxx! Elk Grove Ford is a big JOKE! More

We had a pleasurable car buying experience at EG Ford. Unfortunately, it was predicated by our 2012 Ford Fusion blowing a motor and we needed to chose to spend a ton to fix it or to put the cash into anot Unfortunately, it was predicated by our 2012 Ford Fusion blowing a motor and we needed to chose to spend a ton to fix it or to put the cash into another car. We went down to the dealer to collect the Fusion and we looked around to see what was new. Austin came over and asked if he could help. He was very non-pushy and discussed the pros and cons of the different models. We ended up driving a 2020 Ford Escape. We left that night to think and to give Austin a chance to build a quote for us. They gave us a more than fair trade amount for the Fusion and made a deal better than I was expecting. Steve took us over the next day when we came in to buy the car. They where able get us in and out quickly. They even put a big ol bow on the car and took our picture. Both Steve and Austin worked together to ensure we remain a EG Ford customer. Thanks!! More

All this for a customer who lives 4 hours away from Elk Grove now. Best part is that my new vehicle gets driven to my doorstep and the old lease car is returned to the dealership with no effort on my part. Easiest transaction ever! Took my company fleet car in for recall issues that caused my Ford Fusion to become inoperable. They stated Ford does not offer replacement vehicles for the recall issues. What doesn’t make sense is. caused my Ford Fusion to become inoperable. They stated Ford does not offer replacement vehicles for the recall issues. What doesn’t make sense is...why would you not offer replacement vehicles if the recall causes the car to not be drivable??!! Must be a quick fix. They just can’t get to it for 3 days. Also, I had my car towed there and dropped off before 8am and they did not call me until 5:30pm, only after I left a message for them to call me. I still have not spoken to a service advisor! I will never bring my fleet car to Elk Grove Ford again. Nor will any of my 6 other Ford fleet cars be brought there! More

Once with the Fleet sales, I NEVER heard back when trying to find & buy a truck for our business, I called multiple times. I suppose they don't want to sell their trucks. That was in November & December of 2019. Today, I called the service department to try to purchase a key duplicate key for a Ford F350, I was told I had to speak with the Fleet & Diesel department... they told me they needed to schedule an appointment to get the duplicate done, they would call me back in 15 minutes to schedule. 2 hours went by, nothing. I called them back because since that specific truck was not in use today and if they had an opening, I wanted in. If not, I would have needed to set it for a weekend appointment since the trucks are normally in use during the week. I was told by Matt that he had just spoken with the scheduler and she would call me to schedule in 5 minutes, she had just gotten in from wherever. Ok... I waited... It's been over 2 hours and still no call. I looked up a local locksmith shop and was given all the information I needed over the phone, they have the key I need in stock, and we can walk in anytime we would like, no appointment needed, it should take them about 10 minutes to do. More
