The dealership decision to surcharge credit card payment is extremely poor business practice. I will rethink bringing my business back because of the surcharge. is extremely poor business practice. I will rethink bringing my business back because of the surcharge. More

They had to use the "big battery machine" to test my battery which meant the valet couldn't deliver my vehicle to me, which defeated the purpose of using the pickup/dropoff service . More

One thing I do not understand. I went to the parts counter and asked what it cost for two jugs of DEF. They told me two jugs come in one box for $21.99. They doubled the cost of t I went to the parts counter and asked what it cost for two jugs of DEF. They told me two jugs come in one box for $21.99. They doubled the cost of the DEF and charged me $43.98 No other parts were doubled in cost. The dealer or service rider probably does not look at previous services and the mileage. My last service was with elk Grove Ford invoice number 120701 invoice date was June 13, 2025. Mileage on this invoice was 12,221. in this invoice it showed that they installed two jugs of DEF. At that time, two jugs of DEF was $19.99. They did double that charge on that invoice to $39.98. Now, if you go to the current invoice number 144002 invoice date July 6, 2026. Note the mileage of 15,455 miles. On this invoice, they also put in two jugs of DEF. With a mileage difference between the two invoices of 3234 miles, how could my vehicle use so much DEF? There is something fishy here. Either elk Grove Ford is being dishonest with their customers, or they’ve noticed they can make extra money by doubling the price of the DEF because the customers don’t pay attention or understand. It could also be that the computer sees two jugs and charges double. I’m not sure what the problem is, but I would like to know the answer. Thanks for asking for a review. More
