Got the vehicle my wife wanted at a fair price. Greeted immediately by Dalton. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles. Found the car we wanted and got a good deal. John was quick with the financing documents and very thorough on explaining all of the optional add on warranties if we wanted them. No pressure sales and my wife likes her new car. Thanks guys! Very bad experience! Husband bought a “as-is” car on Friday December 14th. Made an offer in cash over the phone and asked if the car would be inspected before leaving (Mel Husband bought a “as-is” car on Friday December 14th. Made an offer in cash over the phone and asked if the car would be inspected before leaving (Mel said it would be) and the offer was accepted. Husband drove down to Rolla from Saint Louis to pick it up and sign papers. The salesman tried to charge my husband more than the agreed upon amount and also tried tacking on a administrative fee. After fighting to pay what was agreed upon he finally signed the papers to get the key. Was then told that the car would not be inspected before leaving. Got the car home on Friday night after spending 3 hours at the dealership. Check engine light turned on during the drive home. Guess what! Could be an O2 sensor OR could be catalytic converter. Fun fix, right? Car doesn’t even start and had to be towed to in front of my house. So we call on Saturday morning to see what can be done “the man you need to talk to is in a meeting. Call Britney on Monday” Imagine this... we are told to call BRITNEY! Funny that she doesn’t come in until Monday though! Monday morning comes and we call Britney. And now her boss is in ANOTHER meeting and she can’t tell us when he might be done. So my husband finally calls them at 2:45pm (the third call today) and we are told that they’re not going to do anything to help us and they’re not longer going to talk to us because we will get a lawyer. So glad that Joel said on Saturday he would do everything he could to help us. At this point I’m assuming they knew there were issues and just tried to get rid of it. Way to go Kingdom Kia! More
