Upon entering the showroom on a Sunday, we were greeted by a personable young man, shown the vehicle we were interested in and given information we requested. We returned later that week to meet with Step by a personable young man, shown the vehicle we were interested in and given information we requested. We returned later that week to meet with Stephen again, and he spent a lot of time with us comparing, on the computer, the Mazda CX-5 and the Honda CRV that we were considering. We took a test drive, talked money and he was able to get us a number we were comfortable with and away we went with our second Mazda from this dealer. Our other car is a 1990 Mazda Miata that we still drive daily. Stephen was very informative and not "high pressure" at all, JUST THE FACTS kinda guy. I would definitely recommend this dealership and salesman to anyone car shopping. More

I can't say enought about the people at Ed Howard Mazda. Steve Fountaine our sales rep was very helpful. I had been at other dealers looking at mid size cars and was very disappointed in the leg ro Mazda. Steve Fountaine our sales rep was very helpful. I had been at other dealers looking at mid size cars and was very disappointed in the leg room in the rear seats. Steve showed us the CX-5, we talked about and hour or more getting information about the CX-5. During that first visit, Steve never pressured us. We went home with the information Steve gave us, and did more research on the CX-5. After two weeks we returned to Ed Howards and took the CX-5 for a long test drive with Steve. We did a lot of city and interstate driving, a good half and hour to 45 minutes. That day we purchased the CX-5. As of now, we would send friends and family to see Steve at Ed Howard Mazda. More
We arrived at Ed Howard Mazda on Sunday after having had a lackluster experience at Gettel Hyundai test driving an unimpressive Accent. My boyfriend's (Devin) 2003 Protege5 was still running stronger than m a lackluster experience at Gettel Hyundai test driving an unimpressive Accent. My boyfriend's (Devin) 2003 Protege5 was still running stronger than my 2009 Accent, so I wanted to give Mazda a try. We saw the attractive prices on the 2013 Mazda3 models and I was instantly impressed that they were offering more car for the same price I was seeing on the nice looking, yet rickety-feeling Hyundai Accent. We looked at the 2014 models and, while Devin was smitten and vowed to make one his, I was still drawn to the 2013. Matt Masters greeted us and showed us some of the differences in the models and we were going to do a test drive when we discovered we had left my license at the Hyundai dealership. We left to get that, promising to come back on Tuesday. By the time we were halfway to retrieving my license, I already knew I wanted to go back. Unfortunately, we didn't take into account the fact that it was Sunday and they were already closed by the time we returned. I came back as early as possible on Monday and the place was hopping. Ryan Miles greeted me as I came in and, when I mentioned that I had spoken with Matt previously, took me in to where Matt was working. Matt was deeply engaged with another family so he told Ryan to go ahead and run with it. Ryan asked me what I was looking for and I told him I was there for the 3. As we looked at a couple of models and he clarified the trim levels, I let him know that my credit was likely going to be an issue. I have simply never had occasion to establish any credit, much less good credit. He let me know right off that this would likely prohibit my getting financed on a new car and took the opportunity to show me some preowned models and explained the benefits of the Certified Preowned program. The preowned vehicles were all nice, but I have always had an aversion to used and let him know that I was really hoping to get into a new one. We agreed that filling out the credit application would at least let us know where we stood and what our options were. Sad trombone. Ryan was right. My credit (or lack thereof) was not going to get me into a new car. At this point, Devin arrived and I caught him up on everything. He had already decided that he wasn't taking the plunge on the 2014 yet, so he suggested taking a look at his credit just to see if co-signing was an option. Much to his surprise, it was. Now we were getting excited again. While Peter ran the numbers through the banks, Ryan took us out to test drive one of the 2013 models. If I thought I liked this car before, driving it erased any doubts I may have had. I needed this car. When we got back, Peter had the numbers from one of the banks, but they were not the deal he was hoping for. They had hit us with the highest interest rate legally allowed, putting my payment in the low $400s. He let us know that he was hoping that Mazda would come back with better financing, but it was getting late so he let us know he could call us with the info. As it turns out, he was able to call us with pretty fantastic news before I even got home. Mazda came back with a much better rate. Things went pretty much as quickly and painlessly as I could have hoped from there. We came in the next day (today) and finalized the paperwork. The finance manager (I want to say Craig) talked us through the options for an extended warranty and the pre-paid service plan. Since we had saved so much between the $1000 "consumer cash", Devin's $500 return buyer bonus, and an extra $300 knocked off because we're so charming, we went with both plans (warranty and service) and my payment still came out less than my loan on my Hyundai. I can't explain how exhilarating that is. I feel like I am in a markedly better vehicle, paying less money and at no time did I feel any "high pressure sales" that make me dread a purchase of this magnitude. I felt like my concerns were listened to and addressed every step of the way. Every decision in the process was mine and knowing this adds immeasurably to my satisfaction and elation with this car. Ryan was fun, engaging, knowledgable and helpful and made the entire experience more of a fun outing than a possibly stressful purchase. When we left the lot in my beautiful new car and went to dinner, I was instantly telling my waitress about the fantastic deal we got and telling her she should check it out. We both can't wait until we get to go back and get Devin his 2014 Mazda3. It was seriously that fun. More
The entire sales team went the extra mile to get me into a car, my income was very difficult to verify but in the end Chris the finance manager found a loan that worked and set everything up for me. The sal a car, my income was very difficult to verify but in the end Chris the finance manager found a loan that worked and set everything up for me. The sales team and I probably test drove 8 to 10 different cars which included driving 20 or so miles south to their partner dealership just so I could test drive a vehicle. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I will be recommending this dealership to all of my friends and family. More
I purchased a new to me 2005 Toyota Prius from them and lets just say they are the best dealership I have ever seen! First, without me even complaining, they offered to put brand new tires on the car! The lets just say they are the best dealership I have ever seen! First, without me even complaining, they offered to put brand new tires on the car! The safety manager just came up to me and said that the tires were okay for at least another 30k miles, but they would order new ones and I can come back in a week and they would put them on and get them aligned, of course I said SURE! Then after about an hour they had found them at another dealership across the street and would put them on that day. I was surprised but that doesn't end this deal! After a few hours of trying to get a hold of my bank, they felt so sorry for me and filled up my tank. So on my way back to drop the sales person, I noticed the air getting warm. The salesman, Stephen Fountaine, assured me there was no problem, hybrids sometimes run warmer than most cars. Well that weekend it just got hotter and hotter. So I took it in and the service team immediately took a look at it through the request of the managers.Well since Mazda doesn't have any hybrids the mechanic thought it could be the a/c compressor, an at least $1500 fix. The sales manager, Adam Jordan, pulled me aside and told me even though it was an As-Is sale they would get it taken care of. I was amazed!! They contacted my local Toyota and two days and a $800 condenser later, it was fixed! They even followed up with me to make sure that everything was okay! So when you go there be sure to talk to Stephen Fountaine. He may not know much about hybrids, lol, but he is a real straight shooter and will treat you like a person, not an atm machine. These people know the meaning of customer service and they have me as a customer for life!! Thank you Adam and Stephen!! More
After being thoroughly scammed and insulted by another dealer, we entered this showroom with an attitude. Scott (Sales) played no games and treated us as valued customers. He and Business Manager Dougla dealer, we entered this showroom with an attitude. Scott (Sales) played no games and treated us as valued customers. He and Business Manager Douglas teamed up and presented us with an offer that needed no negotiation. Their offer was several thousand dollars below the previous dealer. We were delighted and are now the owners of a new CX-5 Mazda and can say this was a rewarding experience that resulted in a very good deal. Cheers...GR & JR More
