I took my truck in to get a drivers side airbag recall. The service manger was very unfriendly. When I got in my truck I noticed the shift indicator would not land on the letter or won't go into low gear. The service manger was very unfriendly. "No it wasn't". "Yes it was". "You just want to sweep this under the rug". And he said "EXACTLY". Never Ever get service at this place. More

My wife brought her Mazda CX-5 here to fix two overdue defect recalls. When they were gone they told her that the belt tensioner needed to be replaced and quoted $400 for the repair. I remembered we had j defect recalls. When they were gone they told her that the belt tensioner needed to be replaced and quoted $400 for the repair. I remembered we had just had the serpentine belt replaced 5 months earlier and the tensioner was fine. Do I told Ed Howard Mazda not to do that repair and brought our car to my car repair place. What a surprise....our mechanic said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the belt tensioner. So it turns out Ed Howard Mazda mechanic tried to rip off my wife. I figure they are happy to have you bring your recall car in to fix the recall item, then try to sell you fake repairs. Sleazy way to do business if you ask me!! More

The cars are pleasing to the eye (especially the new Mazda 3 Hatchback), but there's more that's pleasing that looks....and that's customer care and service. They get an A + in that department. Great Buying Experience Recently I shopped for a new Mazda3 Hatchback at Ed Howard in Sarasota after being disappointed by my auto shopping experience in Charlotte County. I Recently I shopped for a new Mazda3 Hatchback at Ed Howard in Sarasota after being disappointed by my auto shopping experience in Charlotte County. I worked with Steve Wilkinson and Jon Zimmerman and found both to be friendly, helpful, and genuine. They were able to get the car I wanted from another dealer and offered a price that was well within my target range--no tricks or haggling. Ed Howard is a family owned dealership, and it shows. I met many of the other staff members once I had purchased my car, and they all seemed happy to have my business. So far I think my Mazda3 is a terrific car, and I look forward to working with Ed Howard to keep it in great shape. Thanks again to Steve and Jon for making it easy to choose Ed Howard over other dealers. I'm happy to have a new Mazda3 in the garage beside my 2000 Mazda Miata. More

He listened and did not try to steer me away from my initial needs. He provided the precise car I was looking for, in fact a certified pre-owned, which was fine. I am pleased thus far and am spreading the word to all who ask about my beautiful "new" Mazda6. The entire time spent talking model, price and then the closing of docs...maybe totaled 45 minutes. Great job at cutting thru the nonsense and simply providing what the consumer wanted...that was my experience. More
