I had a great experience when I purchased the car. Everyone was professional and courteous. I definitely will shop there for my next car and will recommend your dealership to my friends. I was very irritated about the situation (I have rodent damage to my new car). Jessica realized it wasn't irritation with her but with the situation. She then sat with me and worked out a way for me to pay damage to my new car). Jessica realized it wasn't irritation with her but with the situation. She then sat with me and worked out a way for me to pay for the repairs and listened to me as I ran the situation over out loud. She was soooo supportive and amazing. Then my sister (who I live with ) found evidence of mice in her brand new car and Jessica scheduled her to bring her vehicle in. More
My experience with East Hartford Chevrolet was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, the worst experience I’ve had at a car dealership. During the purchasing process, I discussed specific terms with disappointing and, unfortunately, the worst experience I’ve had at a car dealership. During the purchasing process, I discussed specific terms with the salesperson (Bri). After going back and forth, she stepped away to confirm the requests and returned saying the dealership could accommodate them. Based on that confirmation, we shook hands and agreed on the deal. I then moved forward and put a down payment on the vehicle. However, when I returned to pick up the car, I was told those agreed-upon items would not be honored because they were “not safety items.” At that point I was essentially told that if I didn’t want the car anymore, there were other families interested. After a handshake agreement and a deposit, that response felt very dismissive and unprofessional. When I asked to speak with the person who ultimately made the decision, I was told they were “too busy.” That left me with no way to resolve the issue or even have a conversation about why the agreed-upon terms were suddenly being denied. There were also smaller issues that added to the frustration. The vehicle came with only one key fob (with a dead battery) and roughly 50 miles left in the gas tank. When I asked about the key, I was simply told additional keys would have to be purchased separately. Given that the original terms of the deal were already changed, a small gesture like providing an additional key could have gone a long way toward resolving the situation. What bothers me most is that this situation could have been avoided entirely if the dealership had simply declined the requests during the negotiation stage. No one forced those terms to be agreed to. Once a salesperson confirms something and shakes a customer’s hand, it should mean something. I purchase vehicles fairly regularly and have dealt with many dealerships over the years. This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a negative review. My advice to future customers is simple: make sure any promises or service commitments are clearly documented in writing before leaving a deposit. Verbal agreements and handshakes did not hold up in my experience here. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously and invests in better communication and customer service training so other customers don’t have the same experience More
Juwan was a really nice, informative and set up Costco and Military discounts on my purchase. Great kid, was very respectful, talkative and very forthcoming.
