Just noticed that they responded here. I did reach out to them at the time and left voicemails and emails. After I told them about the semi-worn out tires with no manufacture date, which I replaced at my own expense, something else wasn't right in the steering. I took the Tacoma to a local auto shop, and they determined that the rack & pinion power steering gear assembly was bad and that I shouldn't drive it until it was replaced. At that time, they were in very short supply. I found one at a Toyota dealership in Durango, CO, ordered it and had it installed by my local auto shop. Just the cost of the part, with shipping, was $994.88. It was recommend at that time that I also change the power steering pump, so that was done as well. Bottom line is that this dealership appears to accept trade-ins, doesn't do any inspections or spend any money at all on them, before flipping these back out to unsuspecting consumers. At minimum, one should expect to receive a safe vehicle. This Tacoma, as I received it, was not safe with semi-worn out tires with no DOM, and a worn out rack & pinion steering gear. I would have been happy had they paid for either the tires or the rack & pinion gear, but they wouldn't agree to do either. They're shady, period, and don't stand behind the used cars they sell. Consumers, there are a lot of better choices in dealerships out there than this one.
