GM and FM bad customer service Been trying to business with dealer for years, never able to make a deal. Always ended up going down "below" to get fair deals. This time my F-350 di Been trying to business with dealer for years, never able to make a deal. Always ended up going down "below" to get fair deals. This time my F-350 diesel had a unbelievable repair cost of $11,000 for a fuel pump (Lemon law?).My truck was with them for 10 days before they gave me that quote. I decided to trade it in on a new smaller truck, which I found on the lot. The sales people were aware of the repair costs, yet gave me a "fair" trade in amount for the F-350. Next was the finance dept, they stressed the point that there is no cooling off period in California......twice. After looking at the contract know why! The real problem was with the Finance Manager, who demanded I bring back the new truck, on several calls, they were cancelling the deal and I owed the service dept money. In addition, he had said they were not going to pay off the remaining balance of the trade in, which I was forced to make an additional payment. In addition they held delivery of the bed liner for 5 weeks, causing the bed to be damaged due to their neglect. This is an on going problem and I am contacting those who deal with these claims. More

I know because three dealers near me in Huntington Beach confirmed it. When I reached out through Auto Trader, Carol initiated contact and promised me a sales price so far below sticker and I was skeptical. I reached out to Ford of Orange, Ford in Merced and Ford in Montebello. All three "Sales Managers" told me that AV Ford couldn't follow through and was going to bait and switch me. I am not going to lie. I called AV Ford out and stopped short of calling B.S. Ramsey at AV Ford called me and confirmed the price and even dropped an additional $1,000 if I drove out that day. I did. My pregnant wife and I drove 2 hours from Huntington Beach to Lancaster mid-Saturday and were delighted that AV Ford kept their word and honored a truly TOO-GOOD-TO-BE-TRUE sales price. Not only that, I was in and out from start to finish in an hour and 15 minutes, fueled up and ready to go. Service was excellent and everybody was kind, polite and professional. I wouldn't normally call out another dealer by name just because they can't match AV Fords pricing. But dealers that prey on people by calling another dealer a liar, should be out of business or those employees should be counseled for unethical practice. I want to extend my thanks and gratitude to Carol and Eric in sales, Ramsey in management and Ashley in finance. You were all great.” Was More
