Service department was busy on Monday morning, but got us in and out with multiple recalls and a smog check completed much quicker than expected. Barret was efficient, professional, and flexible in accommodating the request for the smog check that we had not originally planned for when we scheduled the appointment. Brought my 2004 Ford Expedition checked out at Quicklane. They identified the issue but said that they cannot get the part. I asked what places they checked and they said they called autozone and auto parts They identified the issue but said that they cannot get the part. I asked what places they checked and they said they called autozone and auto parts stores in the area and nobody had the part. They also said that if I could get the part myself, they can install it and apply it to the fees I paid for inspection. Its been a month since I brought it in and I have called several times to get the part number and they keep promising to call me back but never do. As a Ford specialty shop, I don't get it that they only call auto parts stores in the local area when there are so many online retailers with Ford parts? I feel like they are too lazy to check and look for the part or bother to expand their sources. They want to pass the job of looking for the part to the customer. I may also add that I have called at various times and no one answers the phone. It seems like they have blocked my number. More
Scheduled two weeks in advance for recall service for 3 different issues. Turns out they didn’t have the parts for one of the recalls then I waited an extra hour while the car was in the “multi-point” ins different issues. I took the car in at 8am for a recall notice and the check engine light. After 4pm I received a call saying that the engine needed to be replaced due to coolant in a cylinder. Upon further research, that was not mentioned by the service advisor, there are multiple lawsuits for Ford Ecoboost engine failures due to a design defect. Employees were discussing their personal lives and business in front of customers. The service rep referred to me as "Bud". The employee who drove the car around for pickup stepped out of the car and turned the other way with no acknowledgement. More
Great service and job. The only reason for a 4 star was the waiting for the part(s). Turn car in on a Friday and did not get vehicle back until following Friday.
