I showed up about an hour or so before the dealership closed but I was still greeted warmly and promptly. Chris bent over backwards to make sure I was accommodated, even at the late hour. Though I had done some research into the vehicle I was interested in - a Mazda3 5-door - Chris was still thoroughly informative on features and options I didn't know much about. After the test drive and Chris' information, I was ready to sign on the dotted line. I had to wait for quite some time for the finance rep, but Chris kept checking on me to let me know I hadn't been forgotten about. I will certainly consider Mazda of Clear Lake again when my lease is up, and I will certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a Mazda! More
We had GREAT experience when buying a mazda 3i touring at this dealer. To make it short and show how great our feeling: by the end of all the contract signatures my wife asking me if we should give Chris a " this dealer. I have a friend working for Mazda at different dealer and even that my friend still suggested me to buy my car at Mazda of Clear Lake because of the service (life time oil change, etc). I always heard that the sale man is trained to stress the customer to buying the car or change attitude once you bought the car. Chris Danzell is very different. The car dealer closed at 9:00PM but Chris was staying very late with us to go through all of details about this new car until 10:00 PM WITHOUT SHOWING any sign of letting us leave until he went through all of small details: set up bluetooth, be careful to clean the allu wheel with strong cleaning product, etc. My words seem to advertize Mazda of Clear Lake but it's my ways to express how happy my son, my wife, and me when buying Mazda 3i touring. Thank Chris for your service and our happy moment. More

I took my daughter to this dealership to look for a used car. They showed us one we were told was in our price range and after driving it and falling in love with it we were told that it was the wrong vehi car. They showed us one we were told was in our price range and after driving it and falling in love with it we were told that it was the wrong vehicle, that it was actually 6K more. My daughter's hopes were high after driving the vehicle and then this dealership crushed her by telling her the car she fell in love with was not one we could afford after all. The salesman mistakenly showed us the Scion TC instead of the Scion box car, BIG MISTAKE!!! After we were told they made a mistake nothing was done to try to keep us as a customer and we didn't even see or talk to a manager about the incident. I believe that was very unprofessional on the part of the dealership and the management. We will be tkaing our business elsewhere and suggesting to our friends and family to do the same. More
We went in to look at one model, didn't like it and then tried several more. We ended up with a CX-5 and think we will love it! We would not have bought this car had not Chris been so good to us. We think he went above and beyond. As for the CX-5, we ended up with it because of the good looks, comfort and handling, but also for the exceptional mileage, which is important to us. We also like the extras that the dealership includes with the deal. We're happy and we'll recommend Mazda of Clear Lake to any friends looking for a car. More

But I didnt get any of that with Clayton Capps. He was very patient with all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the car I wanted. He respectfully communicated with me for the few days I took to make up my mind about the exact options I wanted. He had the exact car I wanted washed and ready to go when I arrived after work to purchase it. None of the staff made me feel rushed while we negotiated a fair price. I am very happy with my CX9 and would recommend Mazda Clear Lake to anyone. Be sure to ask for Clay. More
David Turner was extremely helpful in my search for a new vehicle. I had originally gone in one night to test drive a Mazda3 and he took me out although it was very close to closing time. I liked it but told him I wanted to wait a few days to make a decision, he did not push to make a sale one bit... he wanted to make sure I loved the car before buying. A few days later he touched base with me and I told him I was interested in a CX-7, although it was a bit out of my price range we made a deal that I could afford and I left a happy customer! It took about 3 weeks to actually come to a decision because during the process we had a family member pass away and during that time David would call to touch base but never once mentioned trying to make a sale but instead only gave his condolences. That was really friendly and he absolutely earned my business with his customer service and care. More
