I particularly appreciate that he knew how to operate the different gadgets of the car, particularly the electronics. He also taught my wife how to set up her iPhone. There are two areas where they can improve. First, they need to have free coffee for the customers. Preferably a single cup system to brew fresh coffee. A small area for children to play would be helpful. My second observation is that I would find extremely innovative if the salesperson after selling the vehicle comments about how to get the best fuel economy, for example providing driving tips. In addition, it would be a great favor for the brand if they also comment about what has the maker done to reduce the environmental impact in the making of the vehicle. As an example, Ford uses recycled materials to make several components of their cars. More

The staff always greets me with a smile and they seem to understand that I am crunched for time, so they find a way to get me in and out. I will say that the waiting room is terrible. I always sit on the bench outside because I feel uncomfortable in there. If they could create a warm and inviting enviorment with a decent television and cable so that the wait wasn't so miserable, I would be very satisfied. Chris suggested that I look at the website and find something that I liked then he would help me get it. So said, so done. Chris was very courteous and very knowledgeable. Once I selected the car Chris arranged for me to test drive it. We then sat down to discuss price and to fill out some paperwork. At no time did I feel that I was under any sales pressure. Chris had the car checked in detail and delivered at the time I wanted it. The business manager Matt Kinard answered all my financial questions and completed the purchase. This entire process was handled very smoothly and efficiently. This was the first time I had purchased a car without having any qualms. More

BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MAZDA OF CLEAR LAKE FEEL CHEATED. I just bought a Mazda 3 from this dealer. I have the 3i model with some options which was originally quote for $22K (Drive-out Price). T FEEL CHEATED. I just bought a Mazda 3 from this dealer. I have the 3i model with some options which was originally quote for $22K (Drive-out Price). They added the EXTENDED WARRANTY of $2500 with some other items including the bodily injury insurance and all the taxes and tag which pump the actual price up to $26K. I have no idea the Sale Manager added all those things (He was rushing over those parts when was explaining the contract to me; and well, I signed it without hesitation). BTW, I put $10K down payment for the car! When I came back to ask about the Extended Warranty, another guy showed up and he was extremely rude. He's not even take me to his desk but talk to me right in the middle of the hall. I asked to cancel the EW and he said I already signed the contract and there are nothing could be changed! I feel like he doesn't wanna work out stuff so I just worked away. I GUESS THAT'S HOW THEY DO. WHEN YOU COME BUYING, THE "GOOD GUY" IS THERE; WHEN YOU COME BACK FOR QUESTION, THERE THE "BAD GUY". My wife bought a RAV4 V6 from Champion Toyota dealer and those things never happen, absolutely hassle free. She got the quote price for $26,600 (Drive-out) and it was exactly $26,600 when she signs the contract, as simple as that. DON"T BE FOOLED BY THE FREE LIFETIME OIL CHANGE AND THE 10 ENGINE WARRANTY like I unfortunately did :( They will get something back on you! When you finished signing the contract, they'll treat you not as a customer but a burden! I regret going with Mazda of Clear Lake. I will give them 1 star (zero if I could) for every review online. I DON"T RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS DEALER More

Used car purchase made easy We just purchased a certified pre-owned 2013 Mazda 2 from Mazda of Clear Lake and couldn't be happier with our experience. We found the car online an We just purchased a certified pre-owned 2013 Mazda 2 from Mazda of Clear Lake and couldn't be happier with our experience. We found the car online and made the appointment to come in and look at it. This dealership is fantastic...they offer free oil changes for the life of the vehicle, which is a great deal! Chris Danzell was very easy to work with and made sure that the small things were taken care of like missing tire valve stem caps and fourth floor mat. Jorge Galvan worked to get us a really good interest rate for the purchase and was easy to work with. Even Matt Kinard in Finance was great to work with. We even got a great deal on coverage for repairs on the car not covered under the standard warranties. I didn't rate the quality of work since we haven't had any car work done. We're going to be bringing our vehicle back in next week so they can take care of a few cosmetic issues with the paint, but I anticipate from our purchase experience we won't be disappointed with the service provided at that time. I had them evaluate my trade and they came back with an offer that was about half of what kbb.com says the tradein value is. When I said I would not trade for that amount, Chris became very rude and hostile. Handed my keys back to me without telling me where my car was. After several minutes of searching for my car, and getting very angry, someone in the office showed me where it was (behind the building, not in front where Chris said it was). After it was clear I was not buying a car, Chris got very short, rude and unprofessional. That's too bad too because I would have sold my car and bought his outright, but now, not only will I not buy from him, I won't buy from Mazda of Clear Lake. More
