Chris Danzell was an excellent salesman. He was infromative, but not super pushy. My husband and I bought 2 new 2010 cars from him. We returned several times because of Chris. I purchased a CX9 and he showed my husband a mazda 3 that we couldn't pass up. The price was right, color was right, mileage was good. My husband asked for a day to think it over. When we returned, to purchase both vehicles...they had sold the Mazda 3 we were looking at. And they did not have another one. They offered to have one sent over from another dealer for us...we agrreed and said we would be back to pick it up later in the week...but we signed all the paperwork on both vehicles that day. When we came back to get the Mazda 3, we noticed it didn't have tinted windows or whell locks. Now...we had previously been told by Chris Danzell that EVERY car that comes through this particular dealership recieved tint and wheel locks. Booby (the sales manager) stated to us when we asked why it didn't have these things...that this car DID NOT COME FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! We quickly informed him that it would have had they not sold the car that they showed us a day prior to purchase. After a heated argument we were told to bring the car back for the tint and wheel locks. We dropped off the car on our way out of town for a week to receive these treatments. When we picked up the car only the tint had been completed. My husband didn't feel that it was worth raising his blood pressure over and we left. I will recommend Chris Danzell, but Bobby is not a favorite of ours. More

First, let me tell you that I had never previously considered buying a Mazda vehicle. During my online review of safe, reliable cars/suvs the CX-7 entered the picture. I visited Mazda Clear Lake whe considered buying a Mazda vehicle. During my online review of safe, reliable cars/suvs the CX-7 entered the picture. I visited Mazda Clear Lake where I live and my salesman David Edgerton spoke to me at length about the features and advantages of the CX-7 and we took the car for a little spin. It was during the drive with David I was convinced to give the Mazda a try. I'm 48 hours into my new CX-7 and I absolutely love it. Thanks to David, who is also my brother, and the entire staff of Clear lake Mazda for making this a completely satisfactory car buying experience. More

These characters are shady. Always double check and triple check their math as it gets a bit "creative." I was not even trying to work a deal (I just decide if something is worth the purchase price or triple check their math as it gets a bit "creative." They lied on the official paperwork about the mileage on this new car (to the tune of 300+ miles). The car had been DRIVEN down from Dallas (which was not disclosed) and had numerous scratches when it was delivered to me the day after I signed the paper work. I received the car with the gas gauge on empty. If I wanted a car that had already been scratched during someone else's joy ride, I would have continued to purchase used vehicles. In fact, after this experience, I can say that I will probably return to that practice (previous sales experiences at other dealerships purchasing a used vehicle have certainly been better and more honest than this one). I am certainly unlikely to ever again purchase a new car from this dealership or to recommend it to a friend. If this is really the make you want, find another dealership or beware. More

I would rate the sales staff as very friendly and honest. I worked specifically with Fred Souflee and thought he was very friendly, honest and informative. I was in a hurry and the sales staff was helpful in in completing the deal so that I could be on my way. My only problem with my 3 was a small ding on the rear fender which I've scheduled with the dealership to have repaired. Overall, a very positive experience. More
