For the first time ever, our dealer experience was outstanding. We were greeted by the general manager upon our arrival, and were then introduced to Darol, our sales associate who would show us and te outstanding. Darol was hands down the best sales associate we've ever dealt with. His knowledge of the car was excellent. When the model and color of the vehicle wasn't available on their sales lot, he went to their backup lot to bring it to show to us. He made sure we were comfortable at all times. My only complaint was with the finance department. We waited a while to close our deal with them (probably 45 minutes or more) and there were no magazines or television to keep us entertained. Once we saw the finance guy, we signed a bunch of blank, generic forms and the printed sales agreements, but we didn't receive copies of any of them. They are supposed to be mailed to us in two weeks, which I'm not 100% comfortable with. After we got home, we realized that we never signed the agreement of sale. So the next day, we had to return to the dealership to sign the form. Still with this hiccup, it was a great experience dealing with this dealership. I'd buy another car from them in the future. More

This car had not yet been transported to their dealership yet but Darol kept me informed on the arrival the this vehicle. After I saw the car, we soon worked out a deal. Darol and Ahmed were very nice and knew alot about the car we were considering. We didn't feel pressured at any time. I wasn't looking forward to negotiations, but it was relatively up front. They were prepared with information from Edmunds.com's TMV pricing--as were we--so it was pretty painless and forthright and we came to an agreement with both of our printouts in front of us and bought a car. Even at the end w/Finance manager--he asked about extras (ext. warranties, etc...) but didn't push, we said no thank you, and that was it--no pressure. At the end the paperwork listed everything you'd expect, nothing sneaky. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a car. More

This is where Darol came into the picture. I e-mailed all the Mazda dealerships within a 50 Mile radius of my home and asked the internet sales to quote me there best price on the exact model,color and style I was interested in buying. Darol came back with the best price quote from the 5 dealerships I contacted. Needless to say I bought from Mazda of Clear Lake, and was very happy with Chris and Darol for there helpfulness and attention to detail. More

We relocated from Canada to the US in Dec 09. Since we have no credit history we knew getting a new vehicle may be a challenge. Chris Danzell was an excellent salesman. He was infromative, but not super pushy. My husband and I bought 2 new 2010 cars from him. We returned several times because of Chris. I purchased a CX9 and he showed my husband a mazda 3 that we couldn't pass up. The price was right, color was right, mileage was good. My husband asked for a day to think it over. When we returned, to purchase both vehicles...they had sold the Mazda 3 we were looking at. And they did not have another one. They offered to have one sent over from another dealer for us...we agrreed and said we would be back to pick it up later in the week...but we signed all the paperwork on both vehicles that day. When we came back to get the Mazda 3, we noticed it didn't have tinted windows or whell locks. Now...we had previously been told by Chris Danzell that EVERY car that comes through this particular dealership recieved tint and wheel locks. Booby (the sales manager) stated to us when we asked why it didn't have these things...that this car DID NOT COME FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! We quickly informed him that it would have had they not sold the car that they showed us a day prior to purchase. After a heated argument we were told to bring the car back for the tint and wheel locks. We dropped off the car on our way out of town for a week to receive these treatments. When we picked up the car only the tint had been completed. My husband didn't feel that it was worth raising his blood pressure over and we left. I will recommend Chris Danzell, but Bobby is not a favorite of ours. More
